Star Bright
My Gramma and Grampa Ellett gave Grace a really cute, soft, pink stuffed bear for Christmas. With this bear, she got to name a star in the sky after herself. How Cool is That!! So Grace now has a star named after her. It is in the Ursa Major Constellation (the big dipper). So whenever you look into the night sky at the big dipper think of Grace and her star. I love it!!!

Christmas 2009
What a wonderful holiday. We had such a great time. We started on Christmas Eve Dancing and singing and eating great food. We also all got new Christmas Pj's.

The next morning we started at Amber's with her kids, then came back to open ours. Grace got a baby from Santa. She made my whole day as she lit up, talked to the baby and held her hands.
She also got this cute Christmas dress she wore until we had to change her thanks to her pooping and it sneaking out of the diaper.
It was too precious.
Grace spent time with her cousins.
She even got kisses from Miles. They love holding hands.
Grace got a very special gift this year. Mimi made dolls for the little ones.
Grace loves her doll so much. She hugs, kisses and talks to her.
Miles loves his buddy as well.
What a neat gift. I am so happy she did that for Grace. That evening we had our annual family Christmas party. We had a big crew this year and a lot of fun.
I love spending time with family. What a great Christmas and a great first Christmas for Grace.

Grace Loves Santa
We got to see Santa again(The Real Santa-seriously) Grace just loved him. She laughed and smiled at him and eventually fell asleep on his shoulder. I just love this Santa. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!

Last night at 2 in the morning, we woke up to our house shaking. There was an earthquake (only 2.7) four miles from our house. I was terrified. I really don't like that feeling at all, and of course with Grace I am even more fearful for her, that I would have been in the past. Too Scary-I am okay if that doesn't happen again.

Birthdays and Christmas Party
Yesterday was a very eventful day. Grace doesn't like a lot of people around very much (although she hasn't been exposed to that yet so I understand). We went in the afternoon to my nephews Gabe and Skye's birthday party. She spent time with Papa, Grandma Mary, and Aunt Michele. I wasn't great at pictures yesterday, so I only got one of her and Michele.
These pictures crack me up too!
This one kills me, not sure what she is doing!
Later that night we had our first Friends and Family Christmas Party. Again I forgot the camera but we had a lot of fun. We had a white elephant exchange and good food (as usual). Tacey and Dustin, Mark and Brittney, Mike and Roxanne, Todd, Reed, and Matt came. We also got to introduce Grace to Mark and Brittney's little girl Brooklyn. Too Cute!

3 months
Grace is three months old today. I can't believe how fast time has gone. She loves laying on her back and playing with toys, especially kicking her ball (she doesn't like her belly so much). She can roll onto her side. She loves laughing and loves her bath. Her smile is my favorite ever and is very contagious. She loves being cuddled, held and rocked. Grace just loves being around her people that she loves so much. She is growing so fast. She can hold her head up very well on her own (just a little more work and she is set) She is just so much fun. I am so lucky to be her mom!

Got Milk?
Sorry this is too funny to pass up. I just keep saving it because everyone tells me not to "throw my milk away" but I am to the point where it can't be used anyway, so I have to throw some of it away. I know I will be using some soon, but for now I am wasting a lot-and wasting lots of freezer space. Oh well I will keep saving, just in case.

Firsts
Today we had a great day. I took off Grace's Logan's Bow this morning and got to see her cute cheeks again! We have to keep the nose stents in for another two months. Grace is a little rascal though and since the stich has been removed, she would consistently blow them out, which was no fun for either of is to put them back in (most parents give up on them and quit using them, but I am trying really hard to keep them in). So I taped up her nose, and it has worked much better, of course she pulled it out once with her hand, and trys to rub them out on my shoulder, but so far so good. She really is too smart for her own good. Because that was removed though, she got to take her first "big girl" bath.

Also she got to hang out with Aunt Trudy at her first basketball game where the Panthers beat the Pioneers. Go West!

Big Shopper
We went shopping with Aunt Toad yesterday. Grace was such a good girl all day long. She did (of course) poop out of her diaper and I dragged it down her leg as I pulled off her pants. I didn't have an extra outfit (because I can't put things over her head and that is all I had) So she ended up hanging out until we could find her some pants, without any on. Then to top it off, I ran out of wipes. What a "way to go mommy" day! But Grace did great and it was good for a laugh.
