Sick kiddos

Even though we got the flu shots the kids came down with the flu. It’s been super hard.  We have had about 6 dr appointments and Grace spent a night in the ER. It’s been so hard.  It’s heaarrbreaking to see them so sick.  Grace is really weak and in pain.  Walker ended up with croup.  I get to sleep in a total of about 8 inches but honestly I saw them totally asleep and holding hands and knew we were blessed and lucky to have such amazing kids.  

Winter fun

Art and I went fishing on the river with new gear I got with a gift card from my boss.  The kids have been skiing a lot and getting better. Walker and I often skip rocks when Grace has ukulele lessons.  It’s been so pretty.  This time we just tried to break the ice.  Walker also wanted to make dinner and picked shrimp linguini with Parmesan butter sauce.  It was so good and fun to cook with him.  He was so proud. 

Ski time

The kids started Sunday ski lessons.  It was so cute when I picked them up they wanted to go again together.  They love it!  They also started cross country skiing at school. We also got them both into a basic sewing class where they made their own salt heat packs.  They are pretty excited about it:
