And Laughing..Again

Grace is really too funny.   This is Grace with Kaelin doing Yoga on the front lawn, but don't be surprise, Grace is the instructor and Kaelin has to follow her.  Kaelin is such a good sport!

 Then Grace decided to shoot all the bad guys in our house.  Good thing too, because I was starting to get concerned that they were going to take over.

Jaxson Baby Blessing

It truly was such a busy weekend for us, but on Sunday, Michele blessed her baby. 

 We went to the park afterward for a lunch/more birthday stuff for Josh and Alayna, but it really didn't come together so we just hung out for a minute.  Grace performed for a while on stage for Papa and I.  She made us put up chairs and clap for her every time.  It was so awesome! I also got great video. 

 She also did some performing on the picnic table for everyone.  She is such a little show off/star! I just love her, she makes my day so much better.

Happy 50th Grandma Dark

Mary is turning 50.  So we had a surprise birthday party for her.  It turned out really well.  Michele did a lot of the planning and it really was a surprise. 

 Grace loved seeing baby Jaxson.

 She was most excited about the Cake because she picked them out.

 She helped herself before we even got the whole cake cut, but Papa told her it was okay, so we went with it.

 The boys played a little football.  Art came straight from work so he was still in uniform. but it got a little hot.

 They played a game with the baloons to see who could pop them first.

 Grace didn't like trying to pop them so instead she let her go into the sky to Mimi.

 The next time around, she had Papa pop hers for her.

It was a lot of fun, and Grace loved being at the party and playing with her family. Happy Birthday Grandma Dark (yep that's what Grace calls her-and Mary loves it!)

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Art turned 34 on Friday! Happy Birthday Honey!  It was a really fun day and we did a small family party for him.

 We wore party hats and Tori made Chicken Parmesan for dinner-it was delicious!

 Grace did some sticker tricks (as usual)

 Art was silly, and made the girls laugh.

 They made him a book where Tori drew the pictures and Grace colored some of them.

 And gave him really cool cards.

Grace had picked out a special piggy/sheep bank for her dad, but on the way, it got dropped.  It was so sad.

So she and I ran back to the store and luckily they still had one so she could give it to him.  She thought it was so special.

 They put some money in it right away.

 Then we did his usual lemon cake that he loves.

 Sang and blew out the candles.  (notice the sweet candle placement that Pie did)

 She loves the candles and the parties more than anyone I know.

We hope Art had a great day.  We all are so lucky to have him in our lives and love him very much!

Seven Peaks

We went to Seven Peaks last Friday.  There was a large group of us there, Art, Tori, Grace and I, My Dad and Mary, Amber and her kids, Crystal an her kids, Michele and Jaxson, Rosa and Sophie, and Jamie and her kids.It ws a great time!

 

 Grace spent lots of time in the water with my dad. Art and Tori did a lot of slides, but I kept missing them on camera.

Miah had fun.

Leah and Grace played chase and loved each other a little. 

It was a really good day!
