Happy Retirement

Donna retired over the weekend and they had a great party for her at the Club in Boise.  We made the trip up and surprised her there. She was so happy to see us that she cried. She even welcomed the unexpected company for the entire weekend.  It was such a great time.

We had a girls breakfast on the Patio. I couldn't get Grace to smile, but she thought it was very fun.  Grandma Box always goes the extra mile with the cute flower in the middle of the table and everything.

We went swimming at the club with the boys.

And went to visit great grandma Walker at her house.  Grace loves these Raggety Ann and Andy dolls. Grandma told her she could have them when she gets a little older.
She did some singing and dancing for Grandma and had cookies and rootbeer.

She rode on daddy's back to play "big bear little bear"

It was such a great time.  We had so much fun with family and enjoyed getting to visit.

Little Princess

This little lady got all dressed up with no place to go.  High Heals-Princess dress (scarf) and a ring box.

Oh how I love her so!

Cooking with Papa Dark

Papa Dark has been staying with us this week.  Last night he taught Grace how to make an official Chili Cheese Dog (his specialty) I have many memories of Chili Cheese Dogs with my dad-they always remind me of him, and it makes me happy.  Grace thought it was so cool to help!

Then they settled in for a movie and some popcorn.  She loves having Papa here to hang out!

Sweet Baby Boy

We made it halfway!  This super tough precious cargo!! He posed so well for his pictures today and we just loved seing his beautiful face.  Everything looks good and healthy! We couldn't be happier for our baby Walker!  So much love!

No More Tree and a special letter

Our tree in the front yard died, so Art and my Dad cut it down last night.

Grace was sad to see it go at first,
but then she decided it was pretty cool.
She was a big helper and helped us clean up all of the mess left behind.
She also got this special letter from her sister.  She is really into receiving letters in the mail so she asked Tori to send her one. She carried it all day because it was "just for her".  This is bedtime and it is sill in her hand.  Love this lady!

Kids Parade

Grace did the Magna Kids Parade again this year.  She had her Dad pull her in the wagon.  We got her all dressed up again and she had so much fun.

They had a bounce house at the end for all the kids to play in. She played in it until a lot of kids came and then she got scared and got out.

She ended up winning two prizes and was so proud of herself.  She got Most Patriotic and Best Costume.  She won certificates and ribbons for both.  For one she got a t-shirt which she is so proud of.

For the other she got this cool football and gloves.
She loves playing with her dad, especially tackle in the yard.

 and she likes kicking it.
It was a really small parade this year, but Grace has a lot of fun, and we are glad we went.
