Happenings at Home

Walker is all about throwing things away, putting clothes (even when clean) back in the hamper, and now-our first toilet casualty.  Little Rascal
He also thinks he can sit wherever he wants.  He especially finds his Dad's head funny.
A little cardboard box reading nook.  It was fun (for a minute).

A little sister time.

Playing some Aggravation. I ended up aggravated and Art won.

Then we took Sissy to the airport. It was a big deal and Grace cried really hard.

She was saying "Sissy don't go" all the way to the car, which was probably a good thing, because the way she was crying, you would think I was torturing her.

Cutest little bear ever.

 And one very silly kitty.

Walker inside a book.

And my entire world wrapped up in footie pajamas.

Again, sitting wherever he sees fit.  You wouldn't think he ruled the roost or something.

Walker also has learned to give high five.  He thinks it is pretty funny.

All dolled up and ready to go! We met one of the ladies from my writing group for lunch.  It was a pretty fun time.

Ice Castles

We went to the Ice Castles in  Midway the other night. It was a lot of fun, but super busy, so it wasn't quite as great as I thought it was going to be.  Grace had fun, until she got cold.

New Years Eve 2013

Another year comes to a close.  Time is going so quickly.  We were really excited to have a little party for New Years, so we learned how to make some balloon animals. Grace has had so much fun pumping up the balloons and playing with them.
Ready to head out to the store one final time for some last minute needs.
 Playing with the balloons.

And a little box time before everyone arrives.
The table is ready with games for the kids.

And Pie took the camera for a few shots like this.

Our friends arrived.

They had so much fun.  Grace loved the kids champagne.

We went outside after dinner to have a little fire, to try and fly paper lanterns (we got one to go). to let off pop its and snaps, and to do some silly string.

 It was a ball!
We came back in for hot chocolate and then a jumping countdown to bring in the new year at 9.

The kids had so much fun and so did I.  I am so very blessed to have my family.  It is my most important gift.  We have had such a great year, with so many challenges and changes, but also great memories.  We have moved to a new place and a new home and I am looking forward to many memories to come.  We are so blessed.  Welcome 2014!!
