More Swimming

We went and hung out with my Dad and Grandma Mary last night. Grace played with her cousins. Gabe just loved her:Then we went swimming. Grace was laughing so much. It was a little cold in the water, but she didn't seem to mind. My dad just had to hold her in there. He was having a ball too:

Faces and Food

I love taking pictures of Grace. She is just so much fun! I love her many faces!
She also has decided (all of the sudden) that she doesn't want baby food anymore. She wants big girl food. She will just spit out the babyfood if I put it in. So last night she had grilled cheese and bananas. It seems a little early to me, but I want her to eat, so I guess I will make it work. Love this little girl!

Walking Backward

Grace doesn't go forward, ever, she just goes backward. Even in her walker she pushes herself backward. It makes me laugh. Grace and Shaye have a great time in the halls of the school, walking and scooting around. Such fun little ladies!

Miah B-Day Party

We had Miah's Birthday Party this weekend. Here is the dork Miles on our way down there (so stinkin' cute). Of course I forgot my camera so these are phone pictures but still cute.
Hanging with Grandma Great!

Amber did face painting. Miah is a dog. Grace was afraid of the dog. She kept a good eye on Miah and would Cry when Miah would get close. Miah later shared her baby with Grace, and then Grace was okay (until Emma came out as a dog, and then there were two of them, and we started all over)
So cool!
Hitting the Pinata with Daddy (I am so lucky to have Art who will participate in things like this-he said he felt a little like he was at a baby shower, but I appreciate him going(Art, My Dad and Kyle were the only men-Mike had to work)
And so did Grace who is quite fond of her Daddy!

24th of July Festivities

The 24th of July is a lot of fun in Bicknell Town. They do a kids parade. Art pulled Miles and Grace in the little red wagon. Grace kept putting her feet on Miles and making him mad. She wanted him to know that she was the princess (or so it looks in this picture) little dork! Some of the kiddos rode in the neighbors cart (Miah, Layla, Carlie and the neighbor girl) Grace latched right on to Grandma Marsha. It was crazy how quickly they bonded. I think they must be special souls together somehow.Miles is just too cute!
We dug in the sand for treats. Grace would move the candy out of the way to get her hands in the sawdust. Then they caught fish in the fishpond (yes real trout-it was so fun. Grace was splashing herself-she wasn't too sure about the fish, but loved the water)Miles loves his "Unc Art" he wouldn't let us get him out of the car, it had to be Art, and he wanted him to watch movies and play with him all weekend. It was too cute! Kolt man gets right in the tank with the fish to catch them-silly boy!
Miah with her catch!
Then we did sparklers Kolt took this picture-he wanted to practice
Yes Miah refused to put clothes back on after swimming in the little pool.Miles had a lot of fun
Kolt claimed he was too cool and old for sparklers but I think he had fun!

60 Years Together

Shannon sang and had them dance. I really miss hearing her sing (she hasn't for a while) She has the most beautiful voice. Grace and Daddy!Elessa and Miles. We all wore purple (but not on purpose so we tried to take a purple picture)

Grace with her Greats. She looks grumpy in this picture, but she was really just relaxing there. I think this is mid stretch. We got better ones by the photographer there.

Playing in the Grass-I love this picture. Miles had just moved from behind her and I think she was looking for him or something. My sisters and I. We played the pudding Game and Kolt and Miah fed my dad and I
I love this picture. Kolt is really turning in to a very special little man! He is such a good kid.
