Sick House

I live in the sick house right now. Both Art and Grace are sick. Grace has croupe and some lung stuff going on, on top of that. Poor little lady. She tends to love Kipper when she isn't feeling well. I think it is so cute. She has him in her crib all the time, but she rarely takes him out, but now that she is sick, he is her little buddy. Here are the two sick ones hanging out. I thought it was too cute not to catch.

Last night the team took 3rd place. It was such a great win! I was so proud of all them and how hard they worked. We came from 12 behind to win. It was really good-what a great group of girls. Not only did Art and Grace come up to support me.
But my dad, Pete and Miles, and my grandparents came. It was so neat to have them all there. I couldn't believe they drove all the way up for my game. The girls thought it was very cool and my family made up most of our crowd! Thank you so much for always supporting me you guys!!Cute little West High Cheerleader!! She takes after Aunt Pete with her love of shoes. Pete brought her these boots when she came and Grace hasn't taken them off. Elessa caught this picture of Grace relaxing. her and Miles were running around on the balcony and here she is taking a break. I love it!
Still telling the girls what to do even from the stands.
Miles' PJ's were late so he put on some of Graces. What a boy! He was actually okay with it. He is so boy all the way through I am not at all worried about him. Cute little man! These two are jsut the very best of friends (just as Miles) They play so well together. I love that they are this close.

Grace's First Golf Lesson

Art took Grace to the putting Green last night. He has just been aching to do this. It was so cute, and she loved it!
She did try and hit the ball a couple of times, but mostly she liked picking them up and putting them in the hole.Cute little diaper bumb hanging out.
Here she is trying to hit it like Daddy.
Now she is hitting it with Daddy. (I love this picture, even though she is totally missing the ball)
Just taking a few pointers!

And Score!!!!
-now she is showing Daddy how you just put them right in with one stroke. She loves it (and Daddy loves that she loves it!) I tought this was a very cute memory for them to have. Love you golfers....

Shrek

This kid loves Shrek. I can't get over just how much she loves him. Here she is sitting so quietly watching the new Shrek show. I think it is just too cute. And loving her shrek pillow and movie (the pillow has Shrek and Donkey on it it is on the other side)!
She tries it out all over and this morning the pillow went with us to breakfast in her high chair and she tried to bring it to school.

Daddy and Pie. She thinks it is so fun!

She just loves Shrek so much. It makes me laugh. I am really glad we were able to find some cute little things because he isn't the big thing right now and the toys are hard to find. I am really glad I found some things she really loves. Oh Shrek... you silly ogre!

More Valentines Fun

This is just too good not to share. See this face-it fits today. Grace was giving away baloons as valentines today (along with the cards to her class) She colored on them for the tutors that work here. She was very particular and would only give the baloons to the boy tutors. She refused to give them to the girls (I was shocked, she usually likes the girls). So she had to go to timeout because she wouldn't share with everyone. I asked her if she was ready to give them to the girls and she said yes. So I took her out to give one to one of the girls, when we got there she said "no" So I said "give her one or you have to go back to timeout" So Grace threw it at her and walked away. Seriously she did. I laughed inside...hard-while trying to keep the you know that it is not nice mom face...Grace! Then she chose to decorate herself with stickers. She is really becomming a sassy little lady.

Happy Valentines Day

To my Valentine: I love you! I love our life together. I am so greatful to have you. Thank you for the flowers and the homemade mac and cheese-my favorite! I love you!To my Valen"tiny" What would I do without you! Thank you for choosing me to be your mom! I love you!

Valentines Weekend

This has been a great Valentines Weekend and day. Today in class Grace was able to give Valentines to her friends. Here is Grace and Shaye. I tried to put a heart in her hair today, but she pulls it out. The rest of her kids in the class (Jane, Giovanna, Eli) Grace didn't want to be in the picture (obviously)
Giving books and valentines to her friends.
Mommy and Grace
This weekend we had a great time. Art's parents came into town. We went to the Little America for dinner. Grace playing with her sheep she got from them.
And wearing Daddy's hat.

She really loves Shrek so we got her shrek toys for her Valentines gift. She loves them and packs them everywhere (including school).

BELBOWS

Daddy has been teaching Grace about Elbows. She now knows most parts of her body. It is so cute to see her point to and say each of them. I love how she says "belbow" instead of elbow. She sometimes adds letters and it makes me laugh (like Melmo instead of Elmo). This is her showing dads "belbow" Oh what is that (this is her new excited face!) My Belbow

Our Belbows!
I love how the simple things are just so much fun. I am so proud of my smart little lady!

Super Bowl XLV

The Green Bay Packers won the Superbowl 31 to 25 to the Pittsburgh Steelers yesterday. My dad was so very excited as he is a Green Bay Packer fan through and through. We had a good time watching the game. Grace sang along with the TV (her own words of course) and told us all that we were watching the "bowl". So proud. She even had super cute new ponytails, which just make me happy!

Meet the Mushers

On Saturday we went up to Park City to watch the sled dog races. I have always wanted to see one ever since I watched Iron Will many years ago. It wasn't quite so "Iron Will" that I thought it would be, but it was still so much fun. Our friends Val, Jeff, and Shaye went with us. This Musher is from Jamaica. He was our favorite. He was so cute with Grace! Little Marshmallow baby hanging with Dad!

The dogs were all different types, not just Alaskan dogs.
Grace had a lot of fun watching the dogs, counting down to their start, clapping and dancing to the music they were playing.
Here goes our favorite musher. He was dancing at the starting line before they took off. It was so much fun! I want to go every year!
