A Daddy Day Weekend

Arts Birthday is on Tuesday so we did some celebrating this weekend. It was a great time. He got to have both of his ladies there!

We started by bbqing pizzas with friends Mark, Brittany and their daughter Brooklyn. It was so much fun. Grace loves her babies and insisted that Daddy hold all of them.
My dad came over too, He played with Grace-she loved the baloons

She really like the "baby" Brooklyn. They talked (well Grace did a lot) and she loves a little bit fierce, but they had fun!

We then went to the Little America to stay for the night.

We swam and had fun!

All of us together: It was so much fun! Tori had to leave to go back to Phoenix after that. We will really miss having her here. Grace is quite attached to her sister. We love you Tori, and miss you a lot when you aren't here!

Talk Talk Talk

Grace loves to talk, all the time, I get comments about how much she talks. Most of the time, we don't know what she is saying, and often wonder what types of games she is playing, but she also says many words, and knows exactly what they mean. She says: Mama, Dada, Baloo (Boo), Dog, Milk, Mimi, More, uh oh, and her newest, Baby (which she always seems to say in this really high voice, so cute)

She also fake laughs all the time (except when I want to record it, but here is a quick little example-then back to baby-loves those babies)

Just love her!

Fathers Day Camp Trip

We went camping this weekend for Fathers Day. It was such a great time! Thank you Art for my beautiful little Grace and for being such a good Daddy to her. I love you!Art got to have both of his girls there with him this weekend!Tori and Grace! We got him a float tube that he has really been wanting for a long time. He went out fishing a few times-and loved it! I also got to spend the weekend with my Dad-who I love so very much. Us girls went golfing with him and had so much fun! I am so lucky to have him. My father in law was not forgotten, even though we didn't get to see him!
Grace played in the water and loved it. She splashed in the lake, then we blew up this little pool. The water was cold and I had to take her out (even though she didn't want to). She is such a cute thing-she loves the water!
We spent some time taking some cute pictures!
Elessa and Miles. The trees there are very cool!
Grace took some very silly naps, in the bike trailer:
Naked (because it was soo hot)Touching her doggies (she just loves them so)She also got into her food with her foot, and decided to play around with it for a while. Silly child of mine!

Excellent Dinner Excellent Chef

Miss Tori (who is 11) has very detailed plans about what she wants to be when she gets older. She says she wants to go to college for Hotel Management, and then to Culinary School. She wants to live in Paris and cook. So last night, we put her skills to the test (actually she wanted to) She marinated Chicken and made kabobs (with her Dad's help-on the grill) but this was all her-It was fantastic!!!
The Chef herself...
We ate a wonderful meal while this little dorkus lavorkus (yes its a word-Dr. Seuss said so) fed herself puffs (yeah go Pie)
And acted like this....
Great Night!

This is how she chose to fall asleep today. It cracks me up when she puts her face right next to things. I have to double check that she can breath. silly girl!

9 months

I can't believe that my baby is 9 months old today. She has flipped my world (in a good way) and I just don't know how I ever lived without her.
She is a little talker-all the time. Says real words like ma ma, da da, boo (baloo), milk, ella (stella)
She doesn't yet want to crawl, but sits well and rolls wherever she wants to go.
She points and reaches
She is funny-she laughs, fake laughs, teases, talks and then laughs, and just knows how to make people happy
She is very smart and is really figuring out how to use her hands and feet, and how to play with toys
She still loves reading and will choose a book over any toy
She loves dolls and grover but most of all her people
She claps and smiles
She will ignore you if she wants to
She loves to eat, mostly sweet potatoes and squash but will eat about anything
She dances (but doesn't yet want to walk)
She is the light of my life-oh how I love you Grace Ann Pie!

Fun in Boise

All of the cousins hanging out together. Love these kids!
We had a fun time outside. Little Art is such a joy!
Jackson loves riding his bike. Art snuck in there to ride too when he got a chance. The kids hung out with Papa Grace loves her uncle Mike. We stopped to see Frank, Jacek and Addison. Jacek is getting so big. What a cute little man! We sure miss these guys living here.
She snacked on biter biscuits and toes while pointing and watching her movies.
Grace pulls this cute new face (and makes very serious noises). I love it!
Grace says Baloo all the time now. All dogs are baloo including Stella. It is just too cute. I am trying to get a better video of her, so hopefully soon.
