Wedding Weekend

Wow! What a week. We had such a fantastic time. The wedding turned out perfectly, and was so much fun. We got there on Wednesday night to get ready for things. At 1:33 exactly in the morning Elessa called to tell me that her water broke. Yeah, here comes baby. So of course I start crying and freaking out that I am going to miss this moment. I wake Art up, and tell him that I really need to go (but of course we have other important things to do, being that it is 2 days to our wedding) So he comes up with the idea for me to fly there. We make it to the courthouse the next morning to get our license, as well as all the errands ran we needed to do (besides the key to the house, which he had to do on his own, Thanks Hon!) and I fly out, back to SLC. Frank picks me up at the airport thinking that I am crazy, and yet totally understanding that it is just how I am and gets me to the Hospital. Our precious Miles Joseph Hinkle is born at 7 PM that night, after a long fight with his mother. He was 7 lbs 12 oz, 20 inches long, and beautiful.

Amber the kids and I, then hit the road back to Boise. We got back at 3 in the morning, but we made it safely. The next day the rush began. We ran errands around town with the kids and then even got our nails and toes done-including Miah, she did so good. We had dinner that night at Smoky Mountain Pizza and Pasta, it was a great evening. Art went golfing that day, and had a good time as well. I went with Amber, Michelle, Tacey and Dust, and Mari and Joe for a couple of drinks at the high class Broadway Bar. It will always be a great memory.

The next day was our wedding day. A wedding can never be complete without a little drama. My mom was flying in that morning, because she stayed to help Elessa for a little bit, She checked in at the airport and was waiting at her gate, when they changed the gate number. So she had to walk all the way across the airport to the other end to her new gate, and when she got there, they told her the plane was full and she couldn't go. The next flight wasn't until 9 PM. We both were crying on the phone when some good samaritan over heard, and gave her his ticket so she could make it on time. We still don't know who he is but, we will always be greatful. She made it safely, on time, and looking beautiful.

The wedding was Amazing with Art's Dad marrying us, it was a really personal touch. We had so much fun. It was the best day ever. From Roat making everyone dance, to Rusty with his leis around his head, to the boise state wedding cake that made not only our lips, but my dress turn blue. I hope to have more pictures to share soon. I had in my Line some of my very best friends, who drove a long way to come. Amber, Elessa (distantly) Katie, Michelle, Tacey, Ashley, and Becky. Art had his great friends too: Mike, Jeff, Frank, Brad, Ryan, and Mark.
Art and I then went to Sun Valley for the week where we layed by the pool, ate fantastic food, and went bowling. I will have pictures of that soon! (there are a couple more wedding pictures on the photographers site (who was fantastic BTW) at http://thebigpicture1.com/Gallery5/Wedding-Gallery
Overall, it was fantastic, but it is really good to be back home and back in our routine. So Fun!

Seriously

I am anticipating heading out on the road, getting ready for the big day. I can't wait. I am so excited to get up there and get things going, it has been a long time coming.

I had to share this information-I have some tutors that work for me, that are quite creative, anyways, they shared with me today this website, you have to watch the video in the bottom corner.

Seriously, people really do this and make money, are you kidding me? "Professional Intimacy" I am pretty sure the only professional intimacy is none, but hey who am I to say. I just thought I would let you all laugh for minute. (especially the part where they are talking really close and rubbing each others faces, that looks like something I want to do with a stranger-Wahoo!

Next post will be after the wedding, I'll share pictures.

Elessa-Love you, sorry I am going to miss your special moment. Elessa will have her baby by next post. Welcome little one-Aunt Men Loves!
