No Bottles No Sippy's

Grace will still not take a bottle. She chews on it, and if something comes out, she spits it out and wears it. It doesn't matter what I put in it (milk, water, apple juice) She won't drink any of them. Silly little lady-I guess that is her way of making sure that mommy can't go to far away (which I wouldn't want to anyway)
See how she just chews on it, and then smiles at me which just makes me love her more and more.

Bringing Home the Dough

Art is Bringing Home the Dough-as I am obviously telling him to do in this picture right???
Last night he won the golf tournament scramble at our club-hey every little bit helps right...He rocks at Golf! I love it!!! (Oh and our friendly horse betting, he always wins enough to pay for our entire season of stuff-go honey!!!)

All while I am playing basketball (for no money-in fact I pay) where I scored a big whopping zero points, taking the time to volley with myself on layups until Ally finally saved my embarrassement, but Val made up for me, by scoring 19 points last night and leading us to the win. I guess it is a good thing I am not to shabby at defense or they would probably kick me off the team after that showing.

Pretty Little Sitting Lady

I just love her. She just makes my work day so much more fun. She has the best, happy personality and such a sweet soul.

Speaking her Mind

Grace is a little talker-all the time. I caught her saying Ma Ma (my favorite sound in the world)
And then when she wants something and doesn't get it, she has started this high pitched scream. Usually louder and longer, but this is kind of funny.

Then she was just too tired, and I think that is what all of the fuss was about (sweet Angel)

Woman of Steel, Grandparents, Nordstroms, and Grover!

We had a very eventful weekend, even though the weather wasn't very good. It all started with the Woman of Steel Triathlon. It rained and was really cold, so instead of swimming, we ran an extra mile, and because it was raining I couldn't push Grace with me, so it didn't turn out quite the way I wanted it to, but it was a lot of fun. Grace bundled and waiting for Mommy! It is so nice to have such a support system. Art is always there when I do these things, and I do look for him whenever there is a crowd, it is always a nice boost! The biking is my least favorite part why...the seat (hate it-and I personally never get used to it)Running to the finish line!
We then went with the Grandparents who bought Grace her very first outfit from Nordstroms-so cute.
We also found a Grover (which was Art's favorite when he was little) and Grace just thinks he is the coolest. We had been looking for a while. She just loves it.

It's A......

Girl, yep another girl!!!
No not for me, how dare you jump to such conclusions... admit it, how many of you thought for just a second in your head that I was absolutely crazy (maybe a little selfish etc). But no, I am going to be an auntie Again.... Grace and I traveled down to Cedar City so that I could see new Baby Bray. I am so excited for Amber, Kyle, Kolt and Miah for their new addition to the family. I was almost late, but I made it and I am so glad. Grace spent the afternoon with my dear "long time" friend Megan and her cute kids (can I still a picture from you blog to place here? I forgot to take one, it would be good for my journaling purposes when I print this). Then back up here we came. Aunt Toady came with us so she could go to school in Virgina for a week. We stopped at the petting zoo to look at the cute little goats.
Today Grace spent some time with Tiffany and Cooper (again, bad with remembering the camera, but can I still a picture from your blog?) Where she and Cooper hit is off from the start-too cute. I am so lucky to have such great friends who will help me out!

Cutie Pie

Because I call her Pie, I think this shirt is a very fitting description of my little lady! Looking at her face-I think she thinks so too!

Oh My Love...

Oh how I love this little girl, who is starting to tell me "No No" and learning to say her "S" sound. She makes everyone smile including me, and oh how her laugh makes me laugh! These two are my favorite people in the whole wide world. Bigger person of the two surprised me by taking me out to dinner last night-what a lucky lady I am.

We had some fun outside this weekend, because it was finally nice outside. Grace actually left her sunglasses and hat on a for a minute, which is quite surprising. I think she looks so cute!
Going for a drive:

cute pics.

One of my tutors took a couple of pictures of Grace and her BFF Shaye. Grace was crying and Shaye was trying to help her so much, they didn't turn out the best-but there were a couple of cute ones.

8 months

This little Shining Beauty is 8 months old today! I can't believe it-she grows so fast!
She now sits, just fine, all by herself. She is trying to learn to wave-I haven't been able to catch it on camera yet, but she does it with her hand facing her, and then is totally mesmerized and proud of herself. She loves dancing, music and trying to sing, and her people more than anything. She just gets so happy when she sees them. She still loves bathtime and being tickled. She now has one tooth (and one still on the way). She hates shoes and socks, but loves baby dolls of any kind. She gives bick smacky kisses and loves to pull my face right next to hers. I just am so in love with her.
She also got a swing from Miles' Grammy and she really enjoys swinging in it. It is hung from our big tree in our backyard (I was hoping for a tire swing there, but Art wasn't so much for that, so this was a really good compromise). I am looking forward to a sunny day to see her in this!

First Tooth!!!

Grace had a tooth break through last night. (although it is hard to see here-she also has one more coming probably today)
They say that you should take a picture a day-I may take five, but it is hard not to, when she is just so cute!!!
Also she loves to dance (I know the encouragement in the background, made into song is so the best ever) but she is just so much fun!!! New fun things every day!!

Sqeaky Shoes and Sidewalk Chalk

Miles and Grace both have Sqeaky Shoes. Miles wanted Grace to wear them with him so bad last night, so we did.
She thought they were pretty cool and was trying to make them squeak.

We then went out and they drew on the sidewalk (yes it may have been raining a little-but they didn't mind) They are so fun together. Today we were driving and Grace started to cry because she wanted her shoe's and socks off, next thing Miles is crying because Grace is crying. Then she stops, and he keeps crying, so she sees him crying and starts crying for him, then he stops until he realizes she is crying---you get the picture-two little sensitve souls.
