Swimming Fun and Fireworks

We went to Boise for a quick trip. We went swimming at the club there. Grace loved it!
They have a great splash area. She even jumped off of the diving board (four times-she really liked it)
Yes she is that kid (not afraid of the water, will jump in-scary) and goes under without crying.
Getting ready to jump again.
Yeah!!!!
Jackson was there too.
And Artie.
Grace loved swimming with Papa and jumped to him too.
We came home and did fireworks. Art hates the idea of "pioneer day" so we just did fireworks for the sake of it
Grace thought it was sooo fun!
Even the little ones we did in the road she enjoyed.
But she wouldn't cooperate or a picture with her mom. She closed her eyes on all of them.
Lilly Cat came too. Dad and Pie had to have a serious conversation about pulling the cats tail.
Overall it was a great weekend and a lot of fun.

San Francisco

We went to San Francisco for my work. It was a lot of fun (although not as warm as I was looking for it to be.) Grace still enjoyed swimming at the hotel.
We went to China Town and had a great time.
I also got to see many beautiful fire escapes (which I love for some reason)
We went to Alcatraz. It was really fun and Grace loved the ferry ride over.

We went to the warf where we had clam chowder and fish sticks. It was awesome (although the birds are crazy)Grace and I also snuck up to the top of the hotel (through back doors and stairs) to see the pretty view.
Grace also played frog in the lobby.
Melinda Doolittle performed at our conference and we saw her in the lobby. She played with Grace for five minutes, played with the beads (which she gave to her) fetched her ball and was all around an amazing lady.
We enjoyed her on American Idol and it was great to meet her in person.
We went to the Ocean.
And the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was so foggy we could hardly see it, but we had a lot of fun anyway! It actually made it a very unique experience because it was very slow.
We went to the museum of fine arts built for the worlds fair. We rode around with Art's friend Jeff. He is awesome and took us to many places we would not have been able to see. He took us to a Napolito restaurant which was really really good.
We did got to Lombard Street too.
And Rode a Cable Car (although we couldn't get on one way and weren't able to ride very far back because they closed it down due to some type of picketing event.
The reason I did go out was for a conference where this amazing young man Daniel was selected to go to. He had a lot of fun and did an amazing job presenting with his group.
Sue and I were both able to go and support him.

Sleepovers and Movies

We went to Payson to have a sleepover at Ashley's house. Grace had a great time playing with the kids.
Grace had a lot of fun playing with Brooklyn.
And all of them played in the sandbox.
We saw Elessa and my mom the next day. Grace was wearing these hats in the store and informing us that she was "a good boy" not where that came from, but super funny.
She played with Baby Bada.
When we got home and Art had Grace swim for a minute, but she was tuckered out from the day and fell asleep.
On Friday Grace and I went to the Winnie the Pooh movie. She did very good and was so much fun!
She loved the movie and kept yelling at pooh, piglet and tigger every time they came on. It was very cute!

Dancing in the Kitchen

Grace and I did some dancing in the kitchen last night (something I used to do with my mom)
It was so much fun!
Today when she woke up, she came straight to the kitchen and asked to dance. So we did-and I laughed and loved it!
I guess she likes it as much as I do. We acted silly too and had fun glasses and silly faces-She is too fun!

Bardies

Grace loves Barbies now (she calls them Bardies though) I love it. She got out some of my old ones that I gave to her and packed them around and even slept with them. Because they needed new clothes we went to find some better Bardies. I was very disappointed in the Ken dolls they have now. He is even more of a sissy than he used to be. We found an outfit though and put it on the old ken doll. She uses Stella to hold him up (too funny). She packes a Ken and Barbie around a lot now and loves to play with them. I am very excited about it! It is very cute!

Girls Day Out!

I got to spend the day with Grace yesterday. We had so much fun. We went to the zoo (again I know-but she loves it)And then we went to lunch at McDonalds where she played for a while.
When Daddy came home from work, Grace rode her tree "horse"
And we went Golfing! Right now Grace is a lot like her sister and prefers driving the cart to playing golf, but she did put a few in the hole.
Then Pie and Daddy rolled on the floor for a while and played games. Grace even did a somersault, but I didn't catch it on camera. I also have to share this video. Grace loves being a frog. When most kids are acting like horses or dogs, my child pretends to be a frog. I guess she is a little (a lot) like her aunt Pete.
