Now I'm Ready!

I finally went and got my toes painted (thanks Dad and Mary!) I haven't done the best job recently (maybe not being able to see or reach them adds to it-but hey I tried). Now I am ready for little Grace to come! Just waiting on you baby girl!

Fun Weekend with Family!

I completely forgot to take out my camera this weekend, and I wish that I would have remembered. Miles and family came to visit for a couple of days. He is such a cute little boy and is growing so quickly. It is funny how intuitive these little ones can be. He was very careful with my belly and hugged and kissed it all weekend. When he was getting ready to go, he refused to give me a kiss goodbye, but did give baby Grace a hug and a kiss. I thought it was so cute. He just leaned over very gently to her. He followed it up with a couple of pats as well. He is so cute!
Grandma and Grandad Boxall came to visit us as well. Although they were only there for one night it was great to see them and spend time with them. They wanted to make sure to take us to dinner before the baby arrived so they drove down and took us to Tepanyaki. It was great and a lot of fun.
It is really crazy to think that the next time we see any of them will be when Baby Grace is making her appearance to the world. I just can't wait!

Cute Shoes

I got the pattern here: http://stardustshoes.blogspot.com/2006/10/cloth-shoe-pattern.html
and made these cute little shoes. I can't wait to see them on Grace's little feet.

Girls Are Made Of...

Dear Baby Girl,
Don't you know that girls are supposed to be made of sugar and spice and everything nice? Well I have to say that the things you are putting mommy through this week don't seem like the girlie things to do. When you move and kick me so hard in the ribs that I am starting to bruise, that doesn't seem so much like sugar to me. When you move around dancing all night long while mommy is trying to sleep, that makes it very hard for me to go to work and accomplish much the next day. Also when you make me have to go to the bathroom multiple times a night, that adds to the difficult sleeping times. I know you are dropping and getting ready to come and see me, but the time spent down low is a little painful and I am starting to have to waddle. I am pretty sure never in my wildest dreams did I ever wish to waddle when I walk, but somehow you, baby girl, are making that happen. I also don't know why you choose to stop moving when anybody but Mommy or Daddy is trying to feel you? That seems a little selfish-but maybe just a little spicy I guess-way to stick to your guns! The heartburn that I am now experiencing is really not that nice-I am not sure how this is helping you at all, so I can only assume you are trying to make sure Mommy knows who is in charge now. I still haven't figured out the need for the extra fat in extra places I don't even know how it helps you, but I guess you are in control and will decide all on your own.
Then there are times when I am pretty sure you are made of what girls are made of. Like how you make random strangers smile, I am always amazed at how the conversation of you makes everyone around me smile, and remember all their great memories to share of when they had their baby, or a special memory with a child or grandchild. And sometimes when I touch my tummy you move your little leg or hand so that I can rub it for you. I think it is especially cute, when I move to a new location on my tummy just to see if you will follow me, and you do. It's pretty much complete sugar when I know I can talk to you all day long and you do nothing but listen. Sometimes I get a little kick here or there in response to what I am saying and I can't help but think that you are really hearing me talk. You make Daddy and I think of you all the time and we talk about how excited we are to meet you and hold you in our arms. Those are some pretty neat conversations and you make Mommy and Daddy really close. That is pretty nice. You make me look at the world in an entirely different way. I try very hard to always be nice to other people, to help them out, and to look for the good in others. I hope that people always do that to you too. I also really try to listen to people and what they want in life, even more than I did in the past, because deep down I hope one day to help you reach your dreams. I hope you know right now that you can always achieve them, and Mommy and Daddy will always support you. You have brought so much love already into my life. You are one loved little lady. I haven't even met you yet and I don't think I can ever love you more (but I hear that I will, every day). People around me just can't wait to see you, and they love you already too. Mimi already has her bag packed and ready to come and see you when you are born, and she just can't wait. All of your cousins can't wait to meet you too, they have made up nick names for you and even Miles and Art like to rub my tummy when I ask them where Grace is. They already know and can't wait to meet you. I guess you are made of sugar and spice and everything nice! I am so happy you chose me to be your Mommy. I can't wait to meet you Baby Girl!
Love, Mommy

Wayne County Fair

I went down this weekend to the Wayne County Fair. I love that thing! I did miss out on a few things because I was just too tired. I made it to watch the morning run. I enjoyed the Parade with my fam where we ate the yearly donuts provided by my dad, who was driving the Maria's Grill Truck.I then quickly ate a funnel cake at the park like I hadn't eaten in days. We had my baby shower that afternoon where I got to chat with some of my best friends. A few cool gifts to share, although everything was wonderful and greatly appreciated! My mom gave me this cute Diaper Bag. I love it!!!!!My Grandma Ellett gave me this quilt. The cool thing about this, is: when I was little we had this same cloth on our crib.My Grandma Taylor made her this pretty quilt (it is so soft, I just may try to keep it for myself)And Every Little Girl needs her own Minni! Thank you so much to everyone who came, planned everything, and for everything you do for me and my little one. We are both very lucky ladies! I love you all!
Art was playing in our Copper Club Golf Championship, where he braved some crappy weather, but had a really great time!

Baby Update!

So Grace is doing really well. We had another ultrasound this morning. She is currently 5 lbs and 15 oz. (so they think she will be 6 lbs by tomorrow). She has the cutest chubby cheeks and they could see a lot of hair on her head. She is turned and in position (way to go baby girl). She is measuring a little ahead of schedule and they expect her to arrive closer to September 14th. (If she goes too much longer than that, she is going to be a really big baby-and I am a little scared). I just can't get over how cute she is. Those cheeks are so much fun! We can't wait to meet you baby girl!

Last Camping Trip of the Year!

We went camping this last weekend and went down to my Nephew Miles' first birthday party. Happy Birthday Little Man!! It was a lot of fun. It is getting much harder to camp and I am getting tired more easily, but we enjoyed spending time by the water, fishing, eating great food, and just being with the family. I love camping and am looking forward to next year.
Miles with his ducky! He got this cute Monkey outfit, so they put it on him. So cute!!He wanted to be held by Papa and play with his new toy. It was very cute!Kolt and Miah!Mike, Miles and Miah on the CanoeArt and I on our last day. I decided every pregnant woman needs to wear bibs at least one time while they are pregnant so this is it! (although they were actually quite comfortable).

Great Quality Time!

This past weekend I spent some really quality time with some very important people. Art and I have been so busy lately that we really haven't been able to spend a lot of time together just the two of us. This weekend was really great. We went golfing, cooked good food and hung out at home, went to Pace's Dairy Ann (where I may have eaten two desserts), went to church, and just spent time together. I am so lucky to have him in my life, and I had a really great time, and feel very refreshed. We also got to have Tacey and Dustin and their kids over on Saturday night to hang out. We played Corn hole and watched Camden slide down the boards. Then Tacey taught me a cool new trick with my camera.I am trying to get just the yellow to show. I will get it one day!I then made a quick trip to Wayne County to spend a little time with my Grandpa. I went to dinner with my family which was a lot of fun. Then hiked around with my Dad and Amber looking for this Cabin my Grandpa was talking about. It was built by his Grandfather and is still standing. I thought it was pretty cool.
