Tasered!

Art got tasered at work.  Or as Grace would say "lazered".  He said it hurt like hell.  He actually did pretty good in the video I had them record, but he said it hurt way worse than it looked.  He said it makes your whole body go solid and he still has sores on his back from where the probes went in.  Something I would never want to do.  Grace watched the video and thinks its cool, but we had to reassure her that her dad was okay before he got home because they lay them down after and she didn't see him get up.  He had to call and tell her he was okay.  It was pretty cute how worried about him she was.

More family silliness

Finley just wanted Walker to lay down on her lap and suck a binkie.  She was convinced he needed her to take care of him, he, was not so convinced, but it was so cute!

We got the kiddos new pajamas.  I tried to get a picture and this is what I got.

 My boys!

A little us time.  So so blessed!

Konnor brought Grace a bear for her birthday.

In her cute purple outfit from Trudy, Lonni, and Jamie

She's getting pretty good at her bike

And awesome as she "scoots in style!"

Konnor likes to ride bikes too.  We will have him just a little while longer.  He's a cute kid, but he calls me mom, and calls Art Dad and acts like he owns the place.  I am working on getting him to eat better (meaning anything but goldfish, capn crunch and milk).  I potty trained him, and also taught him that it isn't okay to make yourself puke so you don't have to eat (I know-crazy right)  And we are finally getting somewhere, but emotionally, this just isn't right for our family. I want to spend more time and attention on my kids and I will just feel better.  But he is a cute kid!

Canning/Family Time

After Grace's party, my dad and Elessa stayed to do a little Green Bean Canning.  Walker loved it!

 And so did Papa

I asked Elessa to let me take her picture and this is what I got.

 Until she finally agreed
Didn't they turn out so pretty! We are super excited!

Randoms

Walker can stand up on things now and does it often.

Toadie gave Grace Monster High Makeup so we enjoy putting it on every day.

Grace wrote her first thank you card all by herself
And enjoyed trying on mommy's pjs

She let one of her baloons go to Mimi with a note that she wrote that says I love you!

Then we played a little more soccer.
The kiddos took pictures with Daddy!

One morning while I was feeding Walker, Grace came out with her nails all painted like this.  I flipped a little and yelled at her (expecting paint to be all over the place).  I told her she couldn't paint without me, but to my surprise it was actually pretty good and I had totally overreacted. Moments like this-I am not mother of the year, but I did apologize and tell her in the future she needs to talk to me and "forgives me" so all is well.  On that note, look how awesome she did.  She said she even switched hands to do the other one and did this well.  I am impressed!
See the tear eyes.  Definitely not my best mom moment.
We did story time again.  Walker loves this little charlotte, but here he was taking her picture when she was trying to share.

Jamie has been have a difficult time and these three kids are caught in the middle, but I took them for an afternoon and they had fun doing tricks on the trampoline.  I probably won't see them very much anymore as they will be living with their dad, but sometimes things happen.

 Grace dancing on the wii

And playing dead man dead man

Grace loved Jamie's high heels and cried when she had to take them off and give them back.

This morning I got to wake up to this.  I just am so very very blessed!

Grace at the Dr because we took Walker because he isn't feeling very well.   He has a virus but we are watching him closely.  She is wearing a coat because it is starting to get pretty chilly here.  Fall is definitely in the air!

 This is her bunny!

We had our first library book accident where Walker tore a page.

But ended it was some tape and some love (Grace under careful supervision holding walker standing up-all by herself)
