Heading to Boise

We headed to Boise on Tuesday. We were trying to miss the storm that was coming through. We stopped in Twin Falls and stayed with Uncle Rusty and Aunt Karen.
Karen made the girls blankets. They are very nice and it was very very nice of her to take all of that time.

Grace had a great time playing with Allie the dog.

We made it to Boise the next day. That night the girls danced with Dad and Grandpa. And Grace ran around the house chasing Grandma with her baloon. She also spent some time putting shapes into the box.

Birthdays and Dinner

We went to McDonalds for my nephews birthday party. It snowed and it was cold outside, but we had a lot of fun. What a cute lady!
Grace with her sister!
Alayna and Grace.
Later that night we went to our friends home for dinner. Mark, Brittany and Brooklyn. Grace had a lot of fun playing with Brooklyn, but she is a bit of a bully. We have to work on that.
Brooklyn had this chair that Grace loved to sit in. When Brooklyn would try and sit in it though she would push her out.
They were really cute!
It took a minute for Grace, but eventually she wanted Mark to hold her. Then Brooklyn got jealous so he just took them both. It was really cute!
Later that night Grace thought it was so funny to put washcloths on her head. Silly lady!

Christmas Day 2010

Merry Christmas 2010. I am pretty sure our tree was drowning in presents this year. We had grandparents here too, and they spoil everyone rotten. Grace just wanted a kipper dog, but they are terribly hard to find, so I had to knit one for her. I think she really liked him. She loved the wagon that her grandparents gave her.

Tori loves to sew, so she got a sewing machine this year.
Grace got a baby from Santa. She had to show everything to her sister and her papa. She was very thankful and pretty good (although we broke up the unwrapping throughout the day for her).Tori also loves cooking so she got the Julie Childs French cookbook from the grandparents. She loves the movie Julie and Julia.
Grace and her baby. She loved it!
Although this is a horrible look on my face here, see the radio flyer box, well Art wrapped this box on my lap in that box and loaded it with tennis rackets and paper just to throw me off. It was really good. He got me a Kindle, (which by the way was totally breaking the rules and he spent too much) But I LOVE It!!!
Grace got lots of books. She got some from her sister that she loves reading!
Art just wanted Boise State stuff (especially this shirt) He looked really good in it too!
Grace just loved hanging out in her wagon with her cool new toys.
Merry Chirstmas!
Trudy and Lon came over and brought Grace a baby that she loves. She has so much fun with these two. She had Lon read her a book for a minute. They are so sweet to us and I really appreciate all that they do.
More play time with afternoon toys.
We went for a walk in the wagon. Grace just loves being pulled (and pulling it around)
Papa and Grandma Ellett came by too. They brought Grace a "Melmo". She dances and spins with it.
Big dancer in her PJ's and robe from MiMi.
Mimi also sent us this for Christmas. Isn't this so neat!!! (yes the Piano) Grace loves banging on it and I really want her to have the chance to learn if she wants to. I was elated. This piano was my Grandma Taylors, then my moms, then us Girls, and now it is in my family. I am so happy! As you can see it was a very spoiled Christmas. Our families are just so great to us and give us way more than we need (or probably deserve). I am so greatful for my family and for the sacrifice that Jesus gave so that I can be here with my them today. Happy Holidays everyone!

Christmas Eve

This Christmas Eve was so much Fun. We had Tori this year and Boband Donna cam down. We started our Christmas games with a round of Wii bowling. Art won the entire games and beat his mom in the last round with Aggravation. We played Yahtzee too.Grace just loved playing. She loves having Tori here to play with her.
She loves playing with her sister so much.
We opened pajamas.
The girls also got slicky blankets. My grandma Taylor makes these for all of us. I love them so much and wanted to continue the tradition so I made some for the little ladies.
Art read the story of Christmas from the first place it was ever told. This is one of my favorite traditions. I remember sitting around while my dad read the Christmas story from the Bible. I wanted to continue that with our girls.
We played a little more. Grace gave lots of hugs.
Then off to bed went the kiddos. Preparation for the next big day followed. (which by the way was a smashing hit)
