Boxall Olympics 2014

The Olympics are on right now. Grace came up with a great idea for us to do our own family Olympics.  So we did. We made some fun crafts of medals, a torch, and a flag.  

 We even did a torch ceremony, complete with Olympics background music.

Grace made the speed skating track with blankets.  We ran around three times and then to the finish line.  

 Grace won this event.

 We then did ski jumping.  Walker won this event.

 Then we did figure skating.

After a very close competition and a dance off between mom and Grace, Grace won. Her skills were too much to handle. 

 We did a little farm animal curling.  Which Dad won.

Mom wanted a picture too, even though I didn't win!

We had an official medal ceremony. 

 It was so much fun and something we will do every Olympics.  Good idea Pie!

Activities

Caught Walker playing Barbies the other day.  Decided I better capture it so I can tease him later. True, there were no barbies and he was taking the stove apart and putting it back together, but still.  This kid.

 We went to watch Josh and Gabe Wrestle on Saturday.  The kids had fun.

 Walker kept asking for the "balls" in the corner.  There were big huge things that people were in floating on water.

Grace wanted to be right in the action.

 Gabe took 3rd overall.

 

These two are the cutest.  Walker will give you a hug any time you put your arms out.  Love them!

 We had Graham Crackers in the milk for the first time.  They both loved it as much as their mom!
