More Thanksgiving Fun!

Grace spent most of the weekend giving lots of hugs and kisses. This is her new "distant" kiss face. You get close to her and she tips her head into you so you can kiss her on the head instead.

Hugging Papa. And putting everything on her head. She kilss me!

Thanksgiving Day!

Happy Thanksgiving! We had such a wonderful day. It is one of my favorite holidays. Great food and great family! We had a good group this year and had a ton of food and desserts. It was so good. Grace spent a lot of time playing with baby Leah (who thinks she is bigs and trys to stand and hold her head on her own. )She is such a precious little baby!Grace gave her a lot of hugs. Sometimes a little fiercly and once she scared Leah a little. That night starting at 10 PM and going until 7:30 AM Amber, Leah and I went shopping. We had so much fun and Leah was such a little trooper. She is a shopper already! Go lady go!!! Isn't she just so cute!!! (she did get us to the front of the line at Toys R Us so yeah Leah!!!)

Basketball Star or Dress Up Queen

This is the kind of stuff that Grace does at Basketball practice. She is so cute! I wonder, is this the makings of a basketball star? (she does love playing with the basketball)

But then this makes me think maybe she is just a dress up queen. She made me put this blanket around her like a cape (I don't even know if she has ever seen a character in a cape...hmm....) and then everything goes on her head even to the point it covers her eyes and she crawls into walls, or walks into tables. Silly little lady!

10 Long Minutes in an Elevator

I went to grab Grace from daycare today. We usually take the elevator back up to my office, because I worry about kids on the stairs. We get in and the door closes, I push the button and nothing happens. The elevator won't move. So I push open door button, nothing happens. So I push every floor and button available. Still nothing happens. I didn't have my cell phone (of course the one time) So I had to use the emergency call to 911. They sent someone right away down to pry open the door. Grace was fine walking around, but I was panicked. We were stuck for about 10 minutes before they got the door open. I now officially hate elevators.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

It snowed last night. A lot. So much so we lost power for most of the night. I had to get Grace and bring her into bed, worried she would get to cold. But we made it and the power came back. So we spent some time out in the snow. Grace loved it! (As for the leaves, we have a late dropping tree. Art picked up 11 bags worth yesterday, but more are falling)
Art and Grace made a snowman. Having so much fun!She thought he was very cool. She smoothed this one part over and over. It was very smooth. Oh so cute!Big Snowman! She loved him! I love this picture too!We also had to make her first little snow angel. I love snow angels, especially this one!

More Fun With Cousins

I don't know what it is exactly about these two, but they just love each other. It is obvious. In fact if you ask Miles if he ever wants a sister or a brother, he will tell you, just Gracie. They hold hands when riding in the car. Oh Melt my heart! And she hugs his hands sometimes. What a little love. Sometimes however, she likes to show off a little for him too. She the potatoes in her hair. What a stinker. She is now officially a walker. She followed him around walking all day when he was here. Holding on to his shirt, sometimes playing crack the whip, but she kept going, and now walks wherever she goes. She also did a little poop in the potty-isn't it too early-wow!They love splashing in the bath together.

Silly kids!
And when Grace bumped her head on the faucet, Miles kissed her better!
Later that night we relaxed for a little bit. (this is so cute)
While Miles fed us "pizza" and "water". He is so funny and particular about his colors. Elessa was always orange and Grace always pink (all weekend, even if Grace wasn't there, he saved her the pink ones). Art and I interchanged a little, but I was usually Green and Art was usually Yellow. Cute kid!

Meet Sammy

This is Sammy. The very first car that I ever purchased. I loved it then, I still love it. Oh the memories I have in High school and college driving this baby around. My dad now drives it to school and back. Well, we had to borrow it back again for a little while until we get the fuel pump in Art's truck fixed, so today I got the delight of driving it to work. Obviously Grace wasn't was with. She is with Aunt Pete and Miles this morning. Oh I love this car....Ride On Sammy!

Loving Cousins

I have great family. Always here when I need them. Grace thinks they are pretty great too. She loves her aunts and her cousins. She was giving Leah lots of hugs and kisses.
Loving her aunt Toadie!and being cute as usual~
But beware of teasing or she will release her wrath....What an angel!
Then there is this one. Little Dork!
And pork chops for dinner. She wanted to play/eat a big one. hmm.
Or talk on it like a telephone.
Then she had a fun little bath. She annoyed Miles to the point he got out.
