Thank you.

I have been working on some curriculm for a local school. It has taken a lot of my free time. I finally finished the other day. I was very excited to finally be done (at least with these classes) The next morning I went out to get in the car to go to work and Art had left me a card, some treats, and a little treat for Grace too, just saying "way to go" "thanks!" . I thought it was the coolest thing and I realized just how thankful I am for Art. It is the little things that make our simple life great! And oh my Pie!
So Thankful to have you in my life.
I don't know what I would do. If I didn't have you!

Wayne County Weekend

We went to Wayne for the Weekend. With the big business closing down there-things are in a bit of turmoil. We wanted to go see the family and try to distract them a little. Grace watching Shrek, very seriously while at MiMi's House. Cleaning the fish tank with Papa (yep she is in the sink right in there helping-she was soaked-but she loved it) Because she was soacked she had to borrow a shirt. She thought it was a dress and loved it. She cried when I took it off. This is Grace's Funny Face! She pulls so hard. I think it should hurt!Mimi made the girls hats. Leah doesn't like anybody but Mommy to hold her, so she wasn't happy. Grace was playing a Kazoo and wouldn't let it go.

I love this pose, and how she is sitting. Too cute!
This face makes me smile! The kids put on a concert at MiMi's house.

We went to visit Amber at her house. Grace loved playing around outside. She saw the Chicks, The Cows, the Kitties and goats.
Grace liked the goats a lot. It was a lot of fun to go and play. Grace loves being with her cousins. Her and Miles play really well together, although I think Miles got a little sick of Grace in his space. She just wants to do whatever he does and sometimes he doesn't like it so much. They are so close though and I love it!

Big Time Stuff

Grace is growing so fast. She does new things every day. Like the door closing. She is really into that right now. I try really hard to watch closely for the fingers. I am sure one day she will close them in, but I just don't know how to stop her (maybe get some of those safety things I guess). She loves it though. She closes them and then laughs hard. This one show how very tall she is getting. I guess I better get the safety handles on our outside doors.
Some things never change. She still loves putting things over her head and trying to walk around.
She went to the track yesterday and did some running. She thought it was so much fun.
She especially loved running with Dad.

Laughing

Grace keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh every day. She loves putting her babies to bed, and giving all of the high five after she goes potty (really we walk and give them each five)She really like the "big girl" panty thing. Very cool. She makes me smile. Also she is very excited about ABC's and 123's. I started to realize though that our alphabet is a little difficult. We sing it and Grace sings along. She gets the ABC (or sometimes ABB) but then we repeat BC a few times so it goes ABCBCBC (at which times she jumps to O) which makes me realize there are a lot of letters that sound the same (BCDEGPV) especially right there at the beginning, but she is getting there and thinks it is a lot of fun. She can do 1,2,3 too on a good day. She likes 2 a lot so sometimes we say it over and over. I am so greatful to have my own little everyday comedian. I need the laughter and she gives it to me! Love you Grace!

I pee like Mi

We were in my office and Grace told me that she needed to go Pee. So I quickly got her ready to sit on the potty. She wasn't having any of it. She cried when I tried to sit her down and she had a royal meltdown. She insisted upon standing up to pee. (she had seen Miles go potty this weekend, and now she thought that is how you do it) She tries to do everything Miles does so why would this be any different.
When we called her Daddy and I laughed, she informed him "I pee like Mi" So proud! Elessa cracked up too. No matter how she pee's I thought it was pretty big of her to tell me she needed to go, know how she wanted to go, and to do it! Go Grace!!! (by the way she leaned forward enough to hit the potty (mostly) Go Pie!!!!

Fights.

On Friday night we went to watch some of the local fights. Elessa and Mike had a friend that was supposed to be fighting but he wasn't able to last minute. We went anyway and it was really fun.
Jeremy Horne was there. He is training the fighters that fought.
They were actually pretty good. It was really fun and I would like to go again. They started out with a girl fight and one of the girls was huge. She knocked the other one out. It was pretty intense surprisingly.
Grace wants to be like Miles. She and Miles went to Trudy and Lon's while we were at the fights. They had a really good time. The next morning Grace wanted to wear Miles' Big Boy Pants. She thought she was pretty cool. We ended up getting her some to get her to start thinking even more about going in the potty.
Staying with the dress up theme. Grace put on her Daddy's shirt all by herself. She is so cute. (and really growing way too fast).

No More Bee Bee

We took away Grace's Bee Bee (Binkie) officially last night. So here are some final pictures with it. I think it was harder for me. It was a sign that she is really growing up. No more tired binkie baby.
We tried to do the "binkie fairy" but she wouldn't give them away so we just had to take them when she wasn't looking. She picked out these "Melmo" jammies all on her own. She loves them. It was a little prize for the night. I love her wild hair. Awesome final Binkie Picture! The binkies are gone, but she is still distracted, and ver excited about the pj's.She has started to say "oh no" I love it. So I tried to catch it on video while we were distracting her.
The next morning she did get a binkie prize (okay so it made me feel better, like I was giving her something in return).
It is a purse with little babies (that she is kissing here). She hasn't asked for it. Maybe she is going to be okay. I put it off only for me-she is tougher than I give her credit for some times. I just love her so much! I can't believe she is getting so big!

Driving Woes

I am not a very good driver-self proclaimed. I don't really like it either. If there is an opportunity for someone else to drive, I tend to take it-and enjoy it. Here is the latest in my not so shining driving moments. Luckily myself and the other lady were okay. Even more lucky-Grace wasn't in the car. I can still drive it-for now.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

Grace is acting a little ornery lately when it comes to me taking pictures, so I always have to make her. She looked so cute today though for St. Patricks Day!
Playing with her Baloon! Being afraid of the Leprechaun.
Still afraid with Vale and Shaye. (she isn't asleep, she is hiding.)Hanging out with Shaye! Happy St. Patty's Day!

Disney on Ice and Jumping

We had a great weekend. We went to Disney on Ice on Saturday. This is me trying to get myself into the picture-it turned out really good if I do say so myself. (okay so not really) Grace LOVED it. She got so excited and was so happy when she saw all of the characters.
She clapped for them.
And waved at them. And wore herself out and fell to sleep.
Then woke back up 20 mintues later ready to go. So she danced with them.
She had so much fun. She loved the Toy Story the best.
We came home and tried our little kid trampoline out.
She doesn't quite have the jumping down, but she tries anyway. I love to watch her jump.
Sunday, we had this kind of a day:
Let me explain: She is wearing a hat, in the house, and is dressed in halloween (literally, she chose her halloween shirt with a costume on the front. It is a little too small, but it is what she wanted to wear) She got into drawers she wasn't supposed to and was just silly all day. We did have a lot of fun though going for a walk, playing outside with the rocks, and even doing bubbles. She makes my life great!
