Sidewalk Chalk

Grace has been having some fun with sidewalk chalk for the last couple of days.

 We did some body tracing.

And some other picture designs.  This is a map...
I can't remember what each of these are, but I but I do remember a ladybug (bottom left) a jellyfish (top left) a hamster (middle)
We took a quick picture of my belly-getting bigger everyday!
Grace and Daddy played a lion and a bear
It was super cute to watch and listen to.
When Greg dropped by to say hello, Grace made him join in with the chalk. She made him draw a snake and hippo "with eyes"

And a picture of our family.
Grace is just too much fun!

Faerie Tale Theater

I have a deep love of the Faerie Tale Theater movies with Shelly Duval.  We have watched them in our family from the time we were very young.  I had been working on my collection of them for a number of years on VHS, when one year for Christmas, Art completed the VHS collection, as well as found the movie copies on DVD.  I was elated and I really love them a lot.  I have been waiting with Grace to show them to her.  We have now watched a couple of them, and she loves them (especially the Rapunzel so far).  Last night before bed, we watched the three little pigs because she wanted to see the big bad wolf

They are really silly, but as you can see with a little choco milk, she was totally into them.
It makes me happy to share one of my best memories with her.  I loved these shows.  Watching them now, they are really a little silly, but they will always be classic to me.  What a fun time for both of us.

Fantasy Football Draft

This year we did the fantasy football draft on the computer.  Everyone in the family loved it, but it stressed me out.  With my Placenta Head-I just couldn't think clearly, not to mention I had help from this little lady with a good dose of distraction.
Art worked overnight and all day, so he was running on maybe 2 hours of sleep.  This is really how he felt-I don't blame him.
This is how Grace felt, when I would run to try and make my pick. She would cry and was sad and just wanted more pictures and time.  I missed her too, so really that's what I wanted to do as well.

But then I would play and she would be happy and I just loved being with my girl, even though I messed up on a couple of pics and even ended with an auto draft once.  Oh well-at least it will be fun!
This morning Grace got up early and fell asleep again on the way to day care.  She is just so precious.  I love watching her sweet little soul at rest.  Love my little gal!

The letter H

So last night while suffering from my ever challenging Pregnancy Insomnia, I came to the realization that I was experience many things that all started with the letter H at the same time.
1-I had horrible heartburn-it happens sometimes, I'm pregnant, and although I took some medicine, it just hadn't kicked in yet.  I tried to lay with my head up high and then found that I had...
2-A headache.  Ugh....and if that wasn't enough at two separate times in the middle of the night, my little man had a large case of the
3-Hiccups.  My whole belly would shake-he is very aggressive when it comes to these things.  That made me Happy.  I love that little man and everything else just seems worth it.

New Day Care

Today was Grace's frist day at her new daycare.  She is going to a lady name Kristens house.  She wasn't looking forward to it, but when we got there and she saw the other little girl her age, and she went off a playing.  It was really hard for me though, because I know how much she hates being out of the house.  I think this is by far the most difficult thing I do-not being with her everyday.  It causes me stress and anxiety, and her too. I wish I could just be home with her, maybe one day, but for now-she is being a trooper and putting on a happy face.
Even though everynight, I will be asked if I can just stay home with her tomorrow, and that she hates me leaving.  It breaks my heart.  But I love you Grace and am trying to ensure you are in good places when you do have to go.

Projects for Brother

Grace is oh so helpful in getting ready for brother.  My nesting instincts have kicked in fully so we are really getting things done.  We painted his sign this weekend for his room.  Grace helped so much! She was so proud.

During our painting, Grace also painted this barn "for brother"
We got his wipes case put together.  We are going with the Boise State Theme.

We are starting to get things together.  We are all getting more and more excited about his arrival everyday.  Grace is so cute about him and she just can't wait for her little buddy.

Weekend Activities

We had a fun weekend at home.  It was nice not to have to travel anywhere or have tons of things to do.  We spent some time outside while the weather was still nice.  Grace insisted upon getting into the pool at 9AM.  I would have been freezing, but she had a great time.

We played some cops-who would want to mess with this cop?  Not Me!!!

We learned a little about the birds and the bees, okay not really it is too soon, but I got sick thanks to the birds and the bees.  We don't want baby frogs (so much for the names Jaka and Baka)  I tapped the glass and tried to get them apart, Grace tried to get the "little one to let go of the big one" while scaring them with the chicken.  Ugh. Oh Gross!

We did some practice swimming inside so she could play with her towel, just for fun.

Then she just pulled silly faces, when I begged her to let me take her picture.
She may have lived on pancakes this weekend.  It's all she wanted and would eat.
And she would eat them-all gone!
It was so fun spending time together.  It's Monday now, and I am at work and missing her terribly.

Some Fun Time Together

I have been pretty busy working, so last night I had to make a night just to spend time with my Pie.  She needed it, but I really needed it.  We did some bubble chasing afterwork.

At one point, she got out the bat and was batting the bubbles.
We took the doggies for a walk, and when we got home, Grace pretended to be one.
We played on the tramp and just had lots and lots of fun outside. I just love this girl so much.  She makes my whole world better and I miss not seeing her as much as I want to.
