Work

Yesterday was my last "official" day of work. I am going to turn in my notice on Monday and volunteer to help find my replacement.  I went in to finish a project that I started. We had a presentation and luncheon with the President of the University.  While sitting there I realized that I truly love my job.  That I am good at it and it is something that makes me proud of myself.  It will be incredibly hard for me to leave.  However, I also thought of my kids and Walker kicking his legs and Grace doing her dance moves and I realized that I can't miss that.  I can always come back to work and have what I have again, but I can't ever get back that time with my kids.  So I felt incredibly blessed not only for them but for my husband who supports my decision, who is willing to carry a bigger load, and who took time to come with me to watch the kids to support me so that I could finish this project that I started.  They drove around Orem for a couple of hours while I worked.  What an amazing family I have.
Cute little man!
And his sister! They held hands and she always sings to him when he needs a little pick me up.  She says her hands are full of "love medicine" that she gives to him to make him feel better (as he isn't  100% after the flue and immunizations).  Too cute these two!
I get to wake up to these two cuties every day. I am so incredibly blessed.
So here is to my new job:  A stay at home mommy. I hope I don't pull my hair out, because let's be honest, it is much more difficult and stressful than going to work every day, but I just can't wait!

Dancing

Grace loves to dance.  This is a performance at home with her "pretty dress" (mimi's scarf) on and her sweet attitude.  She pulls the silliest faces.

And then ready for Dance Class.  She was moved around teachers two weeks ago. She didn't like her new teacher very well. I received a call today that the new teacher wanted to move her back to the old teacher.  So we did.  It was better for Grace because she likes the old teacher (apparently the new teacher doesn't do very well with the little kids) either way, I want Grace in a place she is wanted, and it worked because she had so much fun and came home happy which is what I really want. I know Grace is super busy, but I warned them before she started.  She loves it and I want her to always enjoy it!  She is the cutest little dancer.

Daddy came after dance class and brought her a surprise.  A flower and some M&M's.  She was so proud.  Love that Daddy!

Love them both so much.  How lucky am I.

Two Month Appointment

Walker had his two month appointment today. I can't believe how fast time is flying.  He was 13 lbs 14 oz. (62%)23.5 inches long. (87%) and his head was 42cm (87%)

 Some things he does now:
-Smiles all the time
-Tries to talk and even laugh
-Is really strong
-Can turn onto his side and holds his head up really well
-He follows things in the room and the flashlight
-He holds onto things close to his chest (hugs it-for comfort)

He just makes me so happy. He is such a wonderful little boy. He is happy even when he isn't feeling well.
This cutie went with us.  She has the cutest thumbs up I have ever seen.

Love my little man. He is so cute!

Grace is so sweet.  She gave her necklace (a little purple one) to the nurse Heidi (who is always super nice to her).  Heidi was so surprised and wore it immediately.  Then in the elevator there was a sick little girl. The Dr. always draws pictures on the sticks for Grace so she gave it to the little girl to make her happy and feel better. What an amazing little soul this one has.

Haircuts, Basketball, and Family Time

We went to Wayne County for a couple of days.  Within 5 minutes at my dad's house, Grace took a pencil to the wall.  So proud...

The kids had so much fun being together.
Finlee was kind of my kid while we were there.  She even cried when I left which made me sad.
Grace had fun playing games with Papa.

Walker got a little sick while we were there.
Grace loves being with Miles so much. She misses him when he isn't around.  She waited for him to get off of the bus from pre-school.

We got to see Grandma and Grandpa Treat.  Walker met them for the first time.

The kids enjoyed Oreos at the table.

We went to Desi's to get our hair cut.  These pictures were in a book at the Salon.  We laughed.

Our re-enactment.
 Cute little Walker.

 My hair cut.
 My cutest girl!
Grace at Uncle Mikes basketball game.

 Miah danced at half time.
Grace thought it was so neat.
We later found out Miah was sick and now Walker has it.  Fever and all.
 Papa and Walker

Grace found the "cop" and he was so nice to her. He let her play with his radio and everything.
Walkers first time bathing with his sister.  She thought it was so cool that the baby was in there.

This is how we slept.  Grace took off her Jammies because she said she was hot. I think she was just being silly.  But I so love these two little ones.  How lucky am I!
 Little Walker.

Walker got to meet Grandma Grape for the first time too.  She thought he was pretty neat and he felt the
same.

I had Finlee for a minute, and this is how she took a nap.  At least I got her in the house asleep right...
Michael told his team if they beat Panguitch he would cut a Mullet.  So when they won, he followed through.

Then some of his team cut them too.

Mike Mom came into town and Grace had fun playing games with her and Miles.

We went to see Grandpa Matt.
 Grace played some music.
And dressed up in some Mimi stuff.
This is her saying "yee haw"

 Still being silly.

Grace played with my phone. I had about 30 pictures just like this.

And then these.  She is so silly.

 Finlee loved Walker.

Grace helped me do Grandpas Chores.  We fed slop to the pigs (prob a first for me) and then we fed the horses.

Walker and Fin. He was giving her kisses on the cheek.

 Before I left for home.
One more pic of Walker with Grandpa Treat.
It was a lot of fun.  It snowed quite a bit so we were worried about the drive home, but we made it just in time.  Walker ended up with a fever and isn't feeling well now.  I took him in today and it is just a virus, but still scary.
