Grandma Treat Times

With the loss of my grandpa came lots of memories with my grandma.
 Sharing Cheese.

 And front porch sitting.
Some time sitting quietly with my grandpa

I was honored and so happy when my grandma asked me if I would have a sleepover with them.  Moments I am so thankful for and feel so blessed to have.  With me..the sleepovers began and my grandma wasn't alone.  I am so thankful she asked and so incredibly blessed that my sister willingly said, yes, when asked to keep my kids.  I ran home to get my Pajamas and when I got back the lady working at serenity said, "She's been waiting for you, just pacing, I am so glad you made it" Thank you grandma for letting me do this with you.

Such love these two shared. So many have said they want only to see the young happy photos but for me, such greatness lies in this long love.  This continued giving and support to one another. I think it is so beautiful and I am so thankful for their example. Grandpa: "She's my sweetheart," Grandma: "He's my best friend. I love him so much."

And this man is so great.  I am honored he is mine and so blessed to have his example.

I am also thankful for family and good friends that help take care of the littles when big responsibilities fall.

Even when they fall our of swing and get hurt.  (under my own watch).
I'm thankful for this sweet lady and her constant giving and love.

And I am thankful for strong resilient kiddos who just keep loving and just keep moving.

And for rides in busses, just because...I need a little training to prepare for that Ironman.

And this man and his greatness.  His strength. His courage.

And for one more drinks and opportunities to, "Just feed that man in there." even when you have to get after the help and a make family members hate you.

And to the perfect pair of shoes, that finally fit, so you can feel pretty when you say "See you soon".  And to perfect dresses.

But mostly to family.  And my grandma who I miss very much.  I am thankful. So very thankful.

Sneak in sweetheart.  He knows you love him.

Then sommersault in the yard because you have that joy in your heart.

 To final hair cuts...

And listening lunches...even when others don't.  I love you grandma.  Thanks for letting me be there with you.
