Lullaby's

So I don't sing well and I know it, but I really want to sing to my little one so I have been learning as many lullaby's as I can. My personal favorite so far (and I know this CD works, because it put Miles to sleep two times, it was crazy as soon as we turned it on, he stopped crying and went to sleep). But I also love Jewel's voice which helps.

I also have found some other fun music sites. You can get just about anything in Lullaby form. It is crazy what they can do. Check out these sites:

Also I tried the Costco Lullaby CD, I would probably pass, I really like the instrumental one for here in my office, but the others weren't that great. I do like the Baby Mozart music and I hear it works wonders, and I also bought some very pretty classical stuff. She enjoys music, it calms here down when she gets a little wild! Just thought I would share for any of you who are looking or interested. Also if you have any ideas for me, please let me know!

Happy Birthday Art!

Today is Art's 31st birthday! Happy Birthday! We had a great weekend up in Boise where we celebrated his birthday and tonight we are going to eat at the Pie downtown. (yes I volunteered to cook whatever he wanted, but as you can see, my cooking isn't that awesome as we are going out to eat!) It's okay though, because he can cook well enough for both of us! Hope you enjoy your new smoker!
Tori and I made and decorated a cake.
We hung out with the Nephews. Uncle Art with baby Art!
Jackson Riding his trike!
We played Corn Hole. Marissa is MVP. It was so fun!And Baby Art played with his cousin for a while. It was so cute. I would say where's Grace and he would rub my belly!
Art I hope you had a wonderful birthday, and I hope you have a great day today. I love you and am so lucky to have you in my life. Don't know what I would do without you! Here is to many more birthdays to come!
I love you!

Crazy Baloon!

So I am pretty sure that this baloon must be on crack! Art brought this home for my birthday in May, and it is still floating. We finally cut the string off, because it was getting in our way as it traveled around the house, but we just want to see how long it will last. I think it is on it's way down now, but it has seriously been a crazy baloon.
Also Grace has figured out this way of getting her foot or hand underneath my rib cage. It tickles so badly. I know most of you say you don't remember it tickling at all, but I swear that it does. She rubs it around in there, until I tell her to stop, and she usually does. She cracks me up!

Beautiful Baby Girl!

Look at how beautiful our baby girl is! She is growing every day. She is healthy and right on her weight target, currently 2 lbs and 2 ounces. Again they were laughing at how busy she is. Even though she looks so peaceful here, she really was very busy. Look at her cute hand up by her face, making sure we know that she is posing for this one and letting us "have the picture". We have known for a while, but wanted to get more information that our little girl is going to have a cleft lip. We did find out today (thanks to her finally letting us get a picture). That it is very minor-as you can see. It is just on the left side, and doesn't got all the way up to her nose. She will have surgery not long after she is here, which we are very nervous about, but are becomming very knowledgable about the whole process. I am also starting another blog, just dedicated to that so parents who are searching, can get some insight into the thoughts and feelings that I had as well as the whole process, which I have found difficult to find out there. I will link to it on the side if anyone is interested. Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive and loving. We are so proud of her. Isn't she striking!! Love you little wiggle worm!

Happy Fathers Day!

I just wanted to take the time to say Happy Fathers day to all of the wonderful fathers in my life. I won't be able to post again this weekend, so I wanted to make sure that I did it now.

Art! I am so lucky to have you in my life and to have you be the father to my children. You are already great with Tori and I know you will be fantastic with Grace. I love you very much!
Dado-I don't know what I would do without you. I always know you are there for me no matter what. You make me laugh, and are a great example to me. Remember-you taught me to fly!!

Bob-I couldn't be more lucky than to have you as a father in law. I feel very blessed to know I can count on you! Happy Fathers Day to all of the fathers out there. I hope you weekend is great, and maybe we will finally see some sunshine (although the weather man, says no)

Exciting Adventure Weekend

This weekend, we went camping up American Fork Canyon. We had Tori in town so we wanted to take her up to Timponogos Cave. We left and went up there on Friday. We spent the evening fishing, cooking, and then playing Aggravation in the trailer while it rained outside.
These cute little ducks were there too!

The next day we took a ride up on the mountain. It was very bumpy, but such a beautiful view. We then went to hike at to Timponogos Cave. My cousin Lori and her daughter Jessica met us there. I made it to the top-and am so proud. It was really quite nice out on our hike up.
We started to hear thunder while we were in the cave. When we came out it was pouring down rain. I tried to catch a picture, but it doesn't do it justice. The lady leading the tour told us we would have to wait for 40 minutes or so until they could safely get off of the mountain. So after a while of waiting. They had called in search and rescue and all of the rangers were there to help us get down. I was holding on very tightly to my husband, hoping not to slip. Not a great situation for a pregnant woman to be in, but we did okay. Here is a picture of a huge mound of dirt, and a waterfall (right at the front, hard to see) that was coving the path. (for those of you who have been there know, the path is quite thin on the edge of the mountain with a huge cliff on the one side). We had to climb over these mounds of rock, hoping they didn't slide. (the ranger on the opposite side is standing on the mound, it was higher than his head on the ground. We coudn't see the ranger on the other side as we started up the rocks)
Here is a nother smaller one that we had to cross. It was quite and adventure and we are really glad to be down safely. We went back and barbequed some great hamburgers and hung out outside (as it stopped raining). What a weekend, but we really enjoyed it. Tori loves to camp and fish which makes it so much more fun!

On another note. Grace got the hiccups for the first time last night. It was so cute. Art could even feel it!

Pregnant Women Can Blog About Food!

So I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you that I made my husband drive with me in the rain to a Harmons store (not that near by our home) just so I could get myself chunck of the best cheese in the entire world. I highly recommend you try it. It is available at Harmons or you can find it online. http://products.peapod.com/158477.html It is Boars Head Horseradish Cheddar Cheese. Umm it is so Good! I can't wait for him to grill me up a burger and put a slice of that on top! Thanks Art!

Busy Little Lady

So we had a doctors appointment yesterday, and the doctor was laughing at how busy our little girl was. Also she is easily felt moving around in there, so the doctor got a chance to feel her awesome dancing skills. Art thinks it is a pretty cool feeling as well. She is healthy, doing well, and obviously a very busy lady! We are delighted that we get to feel her so easily, and that she is an active healthy baby! Love you baby girl!

Biggest Loser Contest

So Art and some of the people that he works with here in Salt Lake and in Boise are having a Biggest Loser Contest at Work. Today, before they weighed in, they decided to all meet at a Buffet to gain as much weight as possible before the weigh in. I went along, and I can tell you it was quite funny. Frank definitely ate the most food-It was awesome. Here is the group of them, eating and at the weigh in. As an entire group (many not shown because they are in Boise) they weigh 2096.8 pounds. Good Luck guys in losing this weight! ArtBryan

Busy Birthday Weekend!

So this was a very busy weekend. My Birthday was on Friday and Art had a big barbeque party planned for me. We ate Tri-tip sandwiches and ice cream cake. It doesn't get better than that. Thanks everyone who came or called. I really appreciate it.

It is a good thing I had kids to help me blow out all of the candles, because those who know me, know that I suck at it!

Tacey and Dust!

Amber and Kyle-Seriously??? Elessa and Mike were there too, but I can't get the picture to post!Taylor and Miah were cheerleading. It was cute. Camden was flexing and I tried to get a picture, but my camera sucks.
Notice that the quality of the images change. I got a new camera--Yeah!!!

On Saturday it was my baby shower. I will share a few pictures here, but there were so many great ones. I cry easily (even before I was pregnant) but this time I waited until half of the people were gone, but I realized how many great people I have in my life that love and support me and Grace. We are so blessed. Thank you everyone for always being there for me!
