Dancing and Learning

We have been going to the library a lot.  Grace loves this keyboard to do her ABCmouse.com.  She is getting very good at the mouse.

She also loves dancing and performing. She is learning quite some moves from dance class and from the occasional dance moms where she sees the girls dance.  This time she wanted to do a Justin Beiber dance show for her sister on Skype.

She is just too cute and makes me so very happy!
Also Walker is starting to try and laugh!
Love this happy boy!

Walker's first movie

Grace loves Wreck it Ralph but I haven't seen it yet, so we decided to go.  We went to the dollar theater and it just so happened to be 3D (which I have never been to  before) 3D was awesome and the movie was really cute.  The kids did great. Walker watched a little and I only had to walk with him for a couple of minutes before he fell asleep.

 Trying the glasses on.
We came home that night and kiddos slept great!

Yes pie insisted upon keeping her glasses on.
And even wearing them the next day.  It was a lot of fun and a good time for our family to get out and do something.

Kids

I just love these two cute kids.  They love each other so much.  She kisses and hugs him while he smiles and laughs at her.

We went to Reah's for a visit.  Grace likes to pretend to be Nellie.  It makes Reah laugh.
 Sleeping Nellie.

Reah holding Walker for the first time.
Such amazing kids.  We have such fun!  I feel so blessed.

First Tooth

Walker is already getting his first tooth.  His bottom right tooth is starting to poke through (as of Saturday the 16th).  February really isn't his month poor little fellow.  It has been one thing after another.  He doesn't want to stay a baby very much.  He is growing too fast.

Other catch up

Walker had his follow up appointment and he is doing so much better.  We were encouraged to keep him in a bubble for a little while, but other than that he is good to go.  Grace colored this picture for him at the appointment.  She was so proud.

We did have a little scary thing happen on Wednesday though.  This is a bad picture but I took it trying to be sneaky. We came home from dance class and this guy was riding his bike near our house, stopped and looking at it.  It made me quite nervous as I made my way inside with the kids.  I locked the doors and all seemed okay.  Art was at a meeting.  About thirty minutes later as we were downstairs someone began knocking on the door.  I usually ignore it, but they were very persistent and then began ringing the bell. I assumed it may have been our neighbor in an emergency so I thought I would at least go look. I went upstairs and as I came around the corner I made eye contact with a bald male staring into my window. I went back downstairs and pulled out our gun (grateful now for the 2nd amendment).  He continued to knock and ring the bell for a couple of minutes at least before he left. Grace was very nervous and asked me who I was going to shoot, and then started to tell me it was a zombie.  Our friend Greg came over and sat with me until Art got home. When Art got home he watched outside for a minute and saw a man that fit my description circling back by our house.  He went outside and yelled to him to stop and that he wanted to talk to him but the man didn't stop.  He came in and got his shoes and by the time he went in his car the man was no longer to be found.  I asked all the neighbors and there was not a salesman in the area.  It was incredibly scary and I probably traumatized my daughter, but there is nothing that I wouldn't do to protect my family.  It probably was nothing, but it was very scary all the same.
I went to bed that night with my kids tucked close to me and felt very blessed.

The rest of Valentines

Art brought home some flowers to his girls.  Grace thought it was so neat!

We got in the hot tub to play with Mermaid Barbie. Pie loved it!
 And surfer girl!

Grace came out of her nap with her mimi scarf on. She looked so cute.  She shared it with her brother later and he loved it too!

And when I took it away, he cried.
Grace loves dancing and loves her Jessie boots.  She cracks me up!

Delone brought over some chocolate covered strawberries and a cookie for Grace. She is too sweet and they were delicious.

 Great Valentines Day!
