San Francisco

We went to San Francisco for my work. It was a lot of fun (although not as warm as I was looking for it to be.) Grace still enjoyed swimming at the hotel.
We went to China Town and had a great time.
I also got to see many beautiful fire escapes (which I love for some reason)
We went to Alcatraz. It was really fun and Grace loved the ferry ride over.

We went to the warf where we had clam chowder and fish sticks. It was awesome (although the birds are crazy)Grace and I also snuck up to the top of the hotel (through back doors and stairs) to see the pretty view.
Grace also played frog in the lobby.
Melinda Doolittle performed at our conference and we saw her in the lobby. She played with Grace for five minutes, played with the beads (which she gave to her) fetched her ball and was all around an amazing lady.
We enjoyed her on American Idol and it was great to meet her in person.
We went to the Ocean.
And the Golden Gate Bridge.
It was so foggy we could hardly see it, but we had a lot of fun anyway! It actually made it a very unique experience because it was very slow.
We went to the museum of fine arts built for the worlds fair. We rode around with Art's friend Jeff. He is awesome and took us to many places we would not have been able to see. He took us to a Napolito restaurant which was really really good.
We did got to Lombard Street too.
And Rode a Cable Car (although we couldn't get on one way and weren't able to ride very far back because they closed it down due to some type of picketing event.
The reason I did go out was for a conference where this amazing young man Daniel was selected to go to. He had a lot of fun and did an amazing job presenting with his group.
Sue and I were both able to go and support him.
