Broken Foot

Walker is so helpful sometimes.  He thinks he should just eat Nutella straight out of the container.  Love this kid.

Grace was running and stubbed her toe really hard on the wall. We took her in just to be safe and I am so glad.  She broke her toe and her growth plate, and possibly the top of the bone in her foot but they can't tell for sure.  They are treating it either way.  She will be in this awesome Cinderella shoe for 6 weeks.  She thinks it is cool for now but is already starting to see how many things she can't do and is getting frustrated.

She did get a fun new pair of shoes because I was worried about her walking if her shoes aren't the same.  Her Mom clutsy you know.

St. Patricks Day

We had a great St. Patricks Day this year.  We celebrated on Sunday so we could all be home together.  We had corned beef, cabbage, mashed potatoes and green drinks.

The kids made the decorations for the holiday.
I went out for a bike ride.  I almost hit a deer, truly they are everywhere but it is so beautiful.  I actually enjoyed riding fort he very first time.  I went 23 miles with lots of hills and felt great.

We ate some Pace popscicles and thought of our Mimi.

Walker pretending to poop on the Barbie potty

A few sleepless nights because Walk has a cold again with a fever.  Poor kiddo.

I went on a trail run up to a cave with a group of people. It was a really tough 1.5 miles up 1200 vertical feet.  So cool!

Connie, my friend that I run with sometimes. She is very afraid of heights and struggled a little on this run.

The whole group

This Weather

We have had some incredible weather. This whole winter has been very warm.

We took a little family outing to the park.

I was trying to get a superman selfie.  Art was laughing at it instead of taking the picture. It's harder than it looks but I totally got it!

My dad was given Awesome seats to the Jazz game from Mary's work.  I took pictures of them on tv.

Introducing the Baby Cow Pie

Grace's obsession with Cows continues.  She wants to rent one if she can't have one of her own.  If we just move the shed and open the garage door she thinks we will have room for a cow at our house.  We were just leaving Wayne when uncle Nim (Jan) called to say he had a cow ready.  We hurried to Bicknell, pulled our van into the middle of the corral and got the incredible experience of watching from start to finish.  This mama walking confused in circles in the middle of the field away from other cows with her tail up.

For some reason she moved back over closer to the other cows.  She kept laying down then standing up and pacing and pacing.
Starting to see a little something.

Oh it's the sac-and then it broke.  Grace got to see all of that.

Then hooves showed up and not long, she was pushing, moving up and down.
 The baby came quickly after.

A sweet baby Pie.

A very satisfied girl. She said, "I hope I don't cry."

A Protective Momma

Within 30 minutes that baby was standing.

And trying to nurse.  It took the momma a minute to figure out what was going on but she finally the baby latch.

Jan and the girls celebring. Elessa got there in time to see the baby stand.

Grace said it was the best experience ever.  Walker got to see it too, but didn't quite get what was going on.  So cool!
