2nd Place

So the girls took 2nd place in the tounament. I am so pround of them they played so well. We lost to Wasatch by 8 points.

Way to go Lady Panthers. What a great end to the season!

Basketball Funny!

In light of our upcoming game I had to put this funny picture on here of some of our basketball girls. They make these glasses that you can wear so you don't look down at the ball, and we thought it was really funny to make them wear them the other day, and take pictures. Thought I would share. I Hope they win Saturday!!!

Go Lady Panthers!

My girls did a fantastic job last night, beating Ogden for our final playoff game in the tournament. We are now in the championship game going for 1st. I am so excited for them. They played with a lot of heart. We play Saturday at 3 PM. Wish us luck!!!

BALOO TO THE RESCUE!

So Last night Art and I couldn't figure out why Baloo insisted upon wearing his Batman Costume to bed, but obviously he is more insightful than even we know. Around 12:30 Baloo needed to out so Art got up to take him (no this is not normal for Baloo) when letting him back into the house Art was watching Baloo as he stopped and stared toward my car (may have been a little fear in his eyes, but we are going to go with Fire instead). So Art looks out the door and see's someone in my car with the light on. He runs through the house waking me up out the front door where he sees the contents of my console all over the seats and two kids heading down the road. We quickly call the cops and begin to try and find the two kids. Art brought me back by the house to wait for the cops while he continued to look. Needless to say Art and the cops found the two kids who had broken into a few cars on our street. (Normally things are vey safe and quiet). But the cops began waking up people all along the road to show them that their cars had been messed with. I am sure they were sorely disappointed as to the contents of my car. They walked a short distance with a few dollars, my triathlon necklace, and a pair of sunglasses. I tried to get a picture of all of the cop cars, but I couldn't get my camera to work.

So for my Crime Fighters: Thank you for saving the night. I have learned many things from Baloo, such as my driving and dancing skills, but am still not sure without his keen eye and warning us, we would have caught these up and coming career criminals.

Happy Valentines Day!

So I just wanted to take a couple of minutes and say Happy Valentines day to Art. He is such and amazing man and I am so lucky to have him. Here are a few reasons that I feel lucky every day!

1-He laughs at me! Sometimes I have to remind him how funny I am, but he always follows through!
2-He supports me no matter what, whether it be late nights during the week so I can coach, play volleyball and basketball, or just be there for friends and family, he always has my back!
3-He is a fantastic cook that makes my favorites whenever I ask-macaroni and cheese and chicken stips (he included the recipe in the family cookbook-so definately try those out). Not to mention he is willing to play along with me for the neices and nephews. We had a fantastic dinner night with our cook-it was so much fun!
4-He's a family man. He wants to have a family, he is still very close with his family, and he loves my family very much. He fits me very well that way, because it is important to him too. He also will do whatever it takes to provide for his family, no matter what.
5-He is my best friend, always there when I need him, believes in me, and makes me laugh (even when I don't want to).
6-He encourages my silliness-like Dancing in the car! (and telling me I could totally go to Hollywood on American Idol!)
7-He gets me, he knows just when I need a night out together, or when I need time by myself just to read!
8-He makes the best bloody mary in the world, and because it is my favorite drink he made sure he perfected it!
9-He makes our yard perfect. I never have to worry about mowing, or digging weeds, scraping my windows, or taking out the garbage. He does it and never forgets.
10-He is the love of my life. The person that I was supposed to find. He makes me happy, and I know he loves me unconditionally just as I am, which is a pretty cool feeling!
There are so many more reasons, but I just don't have the space!

Also I want to add Happy Valentines Day to my sisters and nieces and nephews and everybody else!

Wee Coach!

Many of you have heard me talk about Shaye our little mini Coach. I got a really cute picture of her last night (finally). She was dancing as the girls were warming up for their game (which they won). We are really looking forward to the tournament starting on Saturday!

Dinner with the Girls!!

On Thursday night last week, Tessa, Me, Ashley, Cindy, Vanessa and Crystal got together for dinner at Olive Garden. It was so much fun. It made me remember that in life I really want to be one of those ladies that goes on a trip every year with her girlfriends. You know the kind that end up in Vegas with Bright Green T-shirts on that say things like "19 years and counting" they have socks on with their sandals and one too many margaritas! Yeah I want to be one of those ladies, so if anyone wants to start a yearly get away (here in about 10 years) let me know. I am so doing it, and as many of you know, I will find you and make you come with me, so don't say you wanna go now, if you aren't sure. (even if you don't like margarita's it is okay-I can drink your share)

State Drill Team

So I spent Saturday morning watching my cute cousin at State Drill team. She did such a great job!

I also got to watch the UFC of Saturday night and the surprisingly good Superbowl on Sunday. Busy but fun weekend.
