I've Been Tagged!

Okay Sarah, so I am doing my best. How about this is the first picture on my camera with a number 4 in the description!
This is my dad and I wearing Superman Hats that Mary Made. This was at Gabe's Birthday Party I think. Later that week we went to dinner at Morelia's where Larry Miller was eating. He comented on the hat that my dad was wearing (the striking one above) so my dad gave him the hat. Really funny! Anyways I am supposed to tag people to put the fourth picture from their fourth album on their blog-whatever that means-obviously I broke the rules. So I guess I tag Lonni (who should already be doing it thanks to Sarah), Tacey-Good Luck! Well and that is pretty much everyone who reads my blog -who actually have a blog themselves (Huge Population I am reaching I know!) So I guess I will just add two more imaginary friends so I have good luck, lets go with Tony from The Shining (I am only halfway through, so that may be a bad thing) and Santa-he's imaginary right-but no way can he be bad! (I guess I tag my sisters to start a blog-I wanna see my kids more!!)

SlaP mY FaCe!

Yesterday I was the person I never wanted to ever be. I was helping with the dreaded test at the High school. Watching all of the students stressing out wondering if they were going to get their high school diploma or not. Their Future hanging the answers they were giving with the broken and chewed on pencils they borrowed from the students before them (yes, this is the reality). I had the honorable role of watching to see if the students were cheating, talking, using electronic devices etc. I noted a young man across the room that sat eyes wandering and then making comments to his friend, then quickly turning to write on his paper. He was the student with the baggy pants and the boxers hanging over the top. The kind that always get in trouble for having their "colors" hanging out of the back pocket of their jeans. The kind that just look like they don't care, and that is what I saw. I had in my mind the next time her reached around the cardboard divider to talk to his friend I was going to go and move him. A few seconds later as I walked by again, I was amazed to see the young boy picking up his work because he had completed the test. He told his friend to hurry, to which his friend replied "you shouldn't be that smart and we would just get done at the same time." I couldn't believe it. I work with these kids, and try so hard not to jump to conclusions, but this time I was wrong. I was glad I didn't act upon my thoughts and cause him any problems. Although in his world, it may have added to his "credibility" but would have made him loose respect for me and the school. See-Slap My face-how dare I judge!
Then there are the others, the ones that really behave like punks, fail in school, if they even show and are consistently in trouble. I go out on a limb for them and all they do is block my calls to their parents (answering and then telling me I can't talk to them), tear up my letters to their parents, and continue to fail. I guess sometimes you just loose!

Sun Valley

So we had a fantastic time in Sun Valley this weekend. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but it seems like every where we went, I forgot. So here is the basics.

Thursday night Art and I went with Rusty and Karen and Grandma for her 87th birthday party. (pictures soon to come). We had a great time. We ate at a mexican restaurant and just laughed a lot.

Then Friday we went up to Sun Valley. Art and I spent the day fishing in the Big Wood River (seriously where is your mind going-just kidding we laughed about the name all weekend) and had a fantastic time. Go Art!

We then ate at my favorite Restaurant in the entire world (well Next to Maria's Grill) the Pioneer. Of course we forgot to eat lunch, thanks to the fantastic fishing on the Big Wood (he he) so the one glass of wine, hit me like two -okay so the two glasses hit me like four :) but the Filet and the company were awesome. We then went to the lodge where we met one of my best friends Tacey and Dustin, and Mari and Joe. We had such a fun night! Really-We laughed hard, had so much fun, and just enjoyed being out of town. The next day we walked around downtown, did some fun shopping and we bought some cute wallets. See Cute!
Tacey fell a few times and we laughed, but seriously, her knee hurts, I can feel it! We played pool, and Darts (Tacey totally killed us) I had to drink a bitter soda-I was "hung over". We then went bowling. Art killed us all. Mari and I probably win for the most inconsistent, but again, we had fun. We ate that night and then went back to play cards. I am still mad that Joe beat me in spoons. I may hang onto it for a while. Overall it was a great week. Art and I got home and started getting the house ready for Carpet. I can't wait. Funny pictures just to close out! More to come!!!

New Stuff

So I haven't added anything in a while I know. I have been super busy lately. I spent all day on Saturday with Trudy peeling peaches and canning them. A lot of work, I hope they taste good. I will be back again tonight to work on Jam. Last night I hung out with my friend Tiffany Cox. We had a really good time catching up at a gay guy bar. Really funny! I just wanted to add some more cute pictures from the wedding. I also will put in a new post next week. We are going to Sun Valley this weekend with Tacey, Dustin, Mari and Joe. I am really excited.

Funny Story

So this is a funny story that will only happen to me, so I thought I would share. I have the absolute worst Nails in the world, they peel, they break, only I can break a nail folding laundry, but I can Seriously. Anyways I have been working on trying to figure out a way to make them stronger, because trust me all of the "stronger than Nails" stuff doesn't work for me, So I tried to put acrylic covering my entire nail-I have a really hard time with the long fake nails even though they look great, so I was trying just the acrylic, anyways I am taking off old nail polish while I am sitting on my porch. Mountain Dew on the armrest while conducting a yard sale. Yes I am serious. Anyways as I go to take a drink of my Mountain Dew I quickly fell a burning on my toungue, begin spitting, and swearing as I run into the house to quickly wash my mouth. I had tried to drink the bottle of Nail poslish remover. How exciting! I don't know how people get away with drinking that kind of stuff, it tasted aweful and it hurt. Needless to say, I still haven't figured out what to do with my nails, so I guess for now I will just let them break, look like I chew them everyday (because when they I have to) And try to always have a file with me. In the meantime of that, I will try to avoid drinking all things household alcohol. Nasty!
NFL starts This weekend. Can't Wait! Go Colts! We have UFC on Saturday night, and NFL on Sunday at Port. Great Weekend planned.
Also I start Volleyball again tonight! Yeah!
