What have I become?

So I was out jogging a little yesterday and I started thinking (or maybe I realized). Originally when I was pregnant and jogging and people would be looking at me I thought to myself they are just saying "you go girl" and that is why they were looking, then I realized I probably looked a little silly with my belly poking out there, and that I wasn't getting any impressed looks, it was more, WTF looks, so that probably wasn't the case. Then I realized that maybe they were looking at me not because of my belly, but because of the fact that people walking were passing me by. Yeah maybe that it is it. Then I realized that maybe it is a combination, my big 'ole belly, my very slow movements, and probably the fact that I wear outfits like this:
When I got home yesterday and Made Art take a picture, he couldn't figure out why, but really??? I look silly. When did I become the person that would wear things like this? (okay so maybe none of my old tank tops fit anymore, and it was too warm for a t-shirt but really am I that desperate?) Who am I kidding I will probably be wearing something very similar next time. I guess it just comes with territory, I think I can get away with it just because I am pregnant.
Maybe people were staring because I may have (and this is not an admission, just a maybe this could have happened) I had to pee so bad I was walking into the house with my legs crossed-who knows! Cheers to sexy clothes!

Great 4th of July Weekend!

So our weekend was a lot of fun. It started out Friday with a Dr's Appointment, where I got to drink this: I know many of you have had the opportunity, and although I didn't think it tasted all that horrible (not good, but not horrible) It made me kind of sick to my stomach. I think I am in the clear though. Later that afternoon I drove around for over 30 minutes looking for a snow cone shack that was open. I can't find one! I ended up eating a slurpie from 7-11 which isn't nearly as good.

But Saturday was a lot of fun. We started out the day with the Magna Lions Club breakfast. Tori and I wore our puff paint t-shirts. We went to the parade that afternoon. It rained before it started and right as it finished, but it was also a lot of fun. Our friend Todd was in the Parade for his Class reunion, which made it fun!Tori finally caught the ice cream truck for the first time ever! She thought that was pretty cool!We then had a BBQ that night. Art smoked pulled pork and ribs in his smoker. It was soooo good. We played cornhole and rockband and then went to the fireworks, where we got fantastic seats at the club.

I spent sunday basking in the sun! Loving the weather. What a great weekend. I hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July!

4th of July and Neighbors I hate!

So I wanted to start by wishing everyone a happy fourth of July. I hope your day is filled with fun, family, and fireworks. I don't think I will be back on until Monday so I wanted to make sure to get that in. We do have a fun weekend planned so I will hopefully have some fun pictures to share. I wanted to also thank all of our military personnel for all that they have done for me, my family, and my country. Specifically I want to thank Frank and Nick who are my family members who have served to keep me safe and free. Love you both!

Also If any of you have heard about the Neighbor in my backyard that "ruins my life" (yes I know that is a bit dramatic) Well finally we put up some slats in the fencing to cover his horrible aweful yard of weeds. (he is supposed to be putting in a fence, so we decided not to put one in-yet) Now I can relax in my yard, and enjoy my beautiful park without feeling angry!

I am so excited for the Magna 4th of July. Unfortunately they aren't doing a 5k this year, but I can't wait for the breakfast, parade, and fireworks! Yeah go Magna!

Good Night with Family!

Last night we took Tori to go through the new temple open house here in Utah. We went with some of Art's friends from work. They were great, as they had so many stories to share. Tori had a really great time.
Tori thought it was really funny that Moroni had been struck by lightening and turned half black. This isn't a great picture, but you can see it. Then we went to Crystal's house for a Barbeque for Mary's birthday. It is here in a couple of days, but we love you Mary and hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for all that you do. (We also got spoiled with more clothes from Rosa for Grace-and we thought it was Mary's birthday)

Lullaby's

So I don't sing well and I know it, but I really want to sing to my little one so I have been learning as many lullaby's as I can. My personal favorite so far (and I know this CD works, because it put Miles to sleep two times, it was crazy as soon as we turned it on, he stopped crying and went to sleep). But I also love Jewel's voice which helps.

Also I tried the Costco Lullaby CD, I would probably pass, I really like the instrumental one for here in my office, but the others weren't that great. I do like the Baby Mozart music and I hear it works wonders, and I also bought some very pretty classical stuff. She enjoys music, it calms here down when she gets a little wild! Just thought I would share for any of you who are looking or interested. Also if you have any ideas for me, please let me know!

Happy Birthday Art!

Today is Art's 31st birthday! Happy Birthday! We had a great weekend up in Boise where we celebrated his birthday and tonight we are going to eat at the Pie downtown. (yes I volunteered to cook whatever he wanted, but as you can see, my cooking isn't that awesome as we are going out to eat!) It's okay though, because he can cook well enough for both of us! Hope you enjoy your new smoker!
