Samples and Smiles

I have still been working on getting in my product for my website. They are all supposed to be yellow and black so it makes me laugh when I show up to a red one, and then a blue one-too funny. I finally approved though so I am anxious to get in the actual product (I already have a sale-can you believe that-I guess they will be getting a blue one). Grace is hanging with Daddy so mommy can go and play basketball. Too cute!Also Grace just cracks me up. She loves this little pink monkey my dad and Mary gave her for Valentines Day. What a little lovey!!

Good Times

This weekend was a lot of fun. Just to show you I don't often run in these circles, Art and I went to fundraiser on Fridy night.
Art: Is this a black tie affair
Me: Oh no, it is at a rug place, lets wear our honeycuffs t-shirts and jeans
We pull up to valet parking and a black tie affair-hmmm, had to suck that one up. We still went on in and donated because it was a great cause, we just didn't stay for dinner.
My sister and her husband came up to visit. Miles may have spent a little time in timeout for throwing a fork. Art and Grace did a little cheering for Boise State even though they weren't playing.

We rented a van (Oh I want a minivan so bad, even if my sisters give me crap) and went down to do the Operation Smile 5k. Val, Elessa and I and our munchkins went (we got a little lost and were late, but we had fun). Grace getting ready for the run-cute little baby bear!All three of them fell asleep on the way back-too cute. We also watched the UFC fights on Saturday night. Grace had Sweet Potatoes for the first time, and loved them!! She loved them so much she would smile so hard and loose her eyes. If I wasn't fast enough to feed her, she would eat it off of her hands, and sometimes play with it a little. (mess maker!)

Dentist

I had to go to the dentist today, and I took Grace with me. I sat her in the chair, I think she likes the dentist about as much as I do....

mmm...Squash

We gave Grace Squash last night for the first time. She loved it!!!!!

Rollie Pollie

Grace is rolling all over and in all different directions. (just a little Mercy in the background-don't worry about that!)

She is getting so big so fast, I miss my teeny tiny one.

Things I am Thankful for:

There are so many things I am thankful for, but mostly for my family. Last night I was going to go and try and get the Fablehaven book signed for my dad, when Art volunteered to go for me so I could play basketball and spend time with Grace (I bet he wishes now that he wouldn't have) Needless to say-he was there over five hours and didn't get home until midnight last night-who knew it would be so crazy. They said over 3000 people went. I am so thankful for him and that he would do that to take a load off of my shoulders. (I haven't even read it, but I will now if so many people love it!)

This morning we had Grace's appointment with her surgeon and he is very pleased. We don't have to go back for six months, because she is doing/looking so great. Mommy is so happy!!! She fell asleep this morning before we left, so I laid her down, isn't she just a doll. Dressing Girls is so much fun!

Yummy Food!

Grace had carrots and water for the first time last night-Big Lady!!! She actually ate pretty well for her. Too cute!

6 month appointment

Today was Grace's Six Month Appointment and shots (ouch). A few things about her:

Weight: 16.6 68%

Height 27" 83%

Head: 16.9" 63%

So this means her weight and height are moving down, and her head is moving up. Maybe she does have her dad's head afterall!!!

She is rolling both ways, making new sounds, laughing more, loves the camera and will stop everything (even what I am trying to capture) to smile at the camera, she loves playing with things, and moving them to her mouth. She is sitting better and spending more time on her tummy. She still loves reading.

Love this little lady so much!!! Time Flys!

So Much Fun

What a great weekend! I was able to go down and spend some time with my family. Grace really loved her aunt toadie-(but she must be a little boring) because she kept putting Grace to sleep. Grace loved playing with her Aunt Pete, and her cousins of course. (Miah cracks me up with her twinkle toe shoes and he kitty princess) She loved playing with baloons and laughing at the camera. We visited my grandparents, and all helped roll and fix my grandma Taylors hair.

We had a fun little lunch where Grace sat in a high chair like a big girl. We went down to watch Kolt Wrestle. He did so great and took 1st place. He won the first match by points, and the next two he pinned. I am so proud of him! We then went to church on Sunday-Grace is just such a joy, she is too funny and a little like me, loves it when she gets her shoes off, hair out, and can relax!
