I can't believe we just had Grace's first Birthday party. Time went way too quickly. It was such a great day with so many great family and friends who came out to show Grace how loved she is. She was definitely spoiled in love (and gifts) Thank you so much to everyone. We really appreciate having each of you in our lives. It started out on Friday night (into Saturday morning) with preparation. Art smoked and pulled pork for sandwiches, while my sisters and I made and decorated cupcakes.
Grace's Smash Cake
A Fondant Birthday Cake (kind of fun, but probably won't do it again)
Then we went over to our local park pavillian. It was such a great place to have it.
Horrible picture of me, but it is the only one that we got the three of us together.
Grace and her Daddy
Grandma and Papa Boxall
Loving Aunt Toady (She loves her, always wants her to hold her)
Walking with MiMi
And checking out the airplanes
Miles all in party mood (he starting singing Happy Birthday on the ride up)
Grace loved this best of all of the decorations. She loves her sprout friends!
Opening Presents (spoiled little lady)
Getting a little tired
Until Sugar...Getting into her cake. She was very careful and particular at first.
But not for long. She had so much fun with it. She couldn't believe she was getting away with it. She also loves being in the spotlight.
Cute video of her eating it (I was handing out cupcakes so I am glad they got it all)
We let her butteryfly's go. It actually turned out pretty cool and the kids really liked it (so did Grace) She wanted to hold them as I was getting them out.
We had a pinata. Kids love those. Grace had fun with the butterfly.
Grace liked just being outside and hanging with her people.
Oh and crawling in the grass.
And swinging in the swings.
And Walking (oh how she loves walking)
And playing with her cousins
It was such a great weekend and a great place to have her party. We love you Grace and we are so lucky to have you in our family. Happy Birthday little lady!
