Labor Day Weekend

We had a good Labor Day weekend at home this year.  It all started Friday with the opening game for the Broncos.  They played at Michigan State and lost, but only by a 4 points, and it was a very good game.

Grace took Daddy's order for Breakfast and had so much fun being a waitress.  I love when someone says something and she responds with a very confident "okay"

We had Chocolate dipped cones and went to the park before the rain came in and the weather was too cold.

They played cops in the grass.  She loves playing cops more than anything.  She enjoys being the "bad girl" and goes to jail for "putting money in her piggy bank." We try to tell her that is a good thing, but she just doesn't get it.

When she is the cop she will say, hands behind your bag, do you have any weapons, and a lot of "okay".  I love it!

Grace also rode her bike all by herself.  She was even able to pedal which is a very big deal and shows just how much she is growing.

But alas, My little lady ended up sick.  She started to show signs Saturday.  She was running a mild fever.  On Monday when she woke up the fever hit 102 so I took her in.  She has an ear infection and a sore throat.  Poor little gal.  She just wanted to lay down, and be with her Mommy.

We did go out and let her pick a new pair of shoes.  She loves her new princess "magic" shoes because they light up.  She has worn them for two days straight and wanted to sleep in them, but I made her take them off.  They are still a little bit big right now but hopefully will be perfect for the winter.  She thinks they are so special.  I just love this little gal.
