So I don't sing well and I know it, but I really want to sing to my little one so I have been learning as many lullaby's as I can. My personal favorite so far (and I know this CD works, because it put Miles to sleep two times, it was crazy as soon as we turned it on, he stopped crying and went to sleep). But I also love Jewel's voice which helps.
I also have found some other fun music sites. You can get just about anything in Lullaby form. It is crazy what they can do. Check out these sites:

Also I tried the Costco Lullaby CD, I would probably pass, I really like the instrumental one for here in my office, but the others weren't that great. I do like the Baby Mozart music and I hear it works wonders, and I also bought some very pretty classical stuff. She enjoys music, it calms here down when she gets a little wild! Just thought I would share for any of you who are looking or interested. Also if you have any ideas for me, please let me know!

We have known for a while, but wanted to get more information that our little girl is going to have a cleft lip. We did find out today (thanks to her finally letting us get a picture). That it is very minor-as you can see. It is just on the left side, and doesn't got all the way up to her nose. She will have surgery not long after she is here, which we are very nervous about, but are becomming very knowledgable about the whole process. I am also starting another blog, just dedicated to that so parents who are searching, can get some insight into the thoughts and feelings that I had as well as the whole process, which I have found difficult to find out there. I will link to it on the side if anyone is interested. Thanks to everyone who has been so supportive and loving. We are so proud of her. Isn't she striking!! Love you little wiggle worm!

These cute little ducks were there too!

So after a while of waiting. They had called in search and rescue and all of the rangers were there to help us get down. I was holding on very tightly to my husband, hoping not to slip. Not a great situation for a pregnant woman to be in, but we did okay. Here is a picture of a huge mound of dirt, and a waterfall (right at the front, hard to see) that was coving the path. (for those of you who have been there know, the path is quite thin on the edge of the mountain with a huge cliff on the one side). We had to climb over these mounds of rock, hoping they didn't slide. (the ranger on the opposite side is standing on the mound, it was higher than his head on the ground. We coudn't see the ranger on the other side as we started up the rocks)
Here is a nother smaller one that we had to cross.
It was quite and adventure and we are really glad to be down safely. We went back and barbequed some great hamburgers and hung out outside (as it stopped raining). What a weekend, but we really enjoyed it. Tori loves to camp and fish which makes it so much more fun!

We had a lot of fun!

On Saturday it was my baby shower. I will share a few pictures here, but there were so many great ones. I cry easily (even before I was pregnant) but this time I waited until half of the people were gone, but I realized how many great people I have in my life that love and support me and Grace. We are so blessed. Thank you everyone for always being there for me!
