Happy Birthday Mom

We had a birthday party for my mom this weekend.  We were heading down and Grace said she needed to make Mimi a card.  Even though she knew she wouldn't be able to give it to her, we let her do it.  She started it at Lonni's and finished it at home with her "special markers"

 Grace and Miles wanted to sit on Grandpa Matt's motorcycle.

 We had delicious cupcakes

 And sand happy birthday!

 We had a silly string fight.

 And made messages on paper that we put in baloons and sent them up to Mimi.

 We did a lot of playing.

 (and Finlee did a little sleeping)

 We played kick ball.

It was a really great day.  We missed her a lot, but had a really good time as a family. I think it was a pretty good tribute birthday to an amazing lady.
