Vegas Vacation

Art had a work meeting in Vegas last week, so because I wasn't quite ready to go back to work, we decided last minute to go with him.  I am so glad that we did.  Grace and I had such a great time being together and Art actually got to spend a lot of time with us too.  We went to the Mirage to watch the Volcano one night.  Grace was a little tired.  Because we are Boxall's and have that kind of luck.  The Volanco didn't work and we weren't able to see it, but Grace looked super cute on her Daddy's shoulder waiting.

We ate dinner at outback and had a good time coloring.

At the shop where we were standing we found that the display name for one of the art vendors was "Lucy"  Hint hint-hey mom are you hovering???
Pie and Daddy did lots of racing.
Grace loved the boats and singers at the Venetian.
We went to the Shark Experience at the Mondalay Bay.

She loved the Jellyfish the best.

And this Alligator. We had to come back two times (she calls them "caligator")
When we were checking out of one hotel and moving to the next, the bellman let Grace ride on the cart.  She loved it!
We went another night to see the light show at the Bellagio.  Not by coincidence I don't think, the song that played during the show was "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"  it was awesome.  I cried and loved it at the same time.  So did Pie.

Mimi's water show.  We laughed because she would have preferred to watch it from her hotel room.  Love that lady!
We went to the M&M factory.  We let Grace pick something. Of all the choices she picked a golf ball (which she threw across the store)  She is too funny.

Grace and I went to the Secret Garden at the Mirage.  Grace did not like the Tigers very much, especially the green grass one at the entrance.  She made me get on this one with her.

 The sleeping Tigers.
She did like the Dolphins though.  They were pretty neat.

We went to the gardens at the bellagio.  Grace had to touch all of the flowers.  She loved it and thought it was so pretty.

Getting ready for a day out wearing Mimi's hat.
It was a great and much needed get away.  I am so glad we went.  Grace had so much fun and so did I.
