We had lots and lots of family in town last week. My dad came up to help me with Grace for a couple of days because Kaelin was out of town. Grace loved having him there and told me that I could only go back to work if he stayed-well probably not going to happen, but she loved it a lot. Amber came up for a couple of days too for a work meeting, so Grace and Leah got to play together. They loved dancing, a lot.
Grace was very fun and insisted upon saying lots of prayers. She would go for a really long time saying she was thankful for everything she could see and so much more.
Amber would laugh at her and she would tell her to be quiet and the say "I need to talk to toadie" if anyone else tried to say anything, so Amber got most of it.
Porter spoke at my GEAR UP conference and did such a fantastic job. I am so very proud of him and grateful that he came to do that for us. Everyone loved him because he is truly amazing!
Papa spent some time teaching pie to dance.
and aunt trudy even stopped by and tried to teach her how to do a princess bow.
Elessa came up on Wednesday because Finlee had a Dr's appointment and then had to get tubes put in her ears. Because we were going to miss Miles Birthday party we celebrated it at our house. The kids got to make their own Pizza's.
They played cops "a lot"
Pie picked out Miles' birthday present. It was a dumptruck and I laughed really hard, but she insisted it is what he would want. It is from her afterall so we did it, and he did like it.
Grace got spongebob decorations for Miles and was so excited to sing and have cake.
She picked out the cake and it was delicious. Miles liked it too.
Finlee even got a chance in jail when none of the rest of us wanted to play. She was a good sport though and enjoyed it.
It was a very busy week, but also a lot of fun. Grace loved having people there and we enjoyed getting to see everyone.
