Two Sick Kids

Sometimes it feels that every time we go to visit family we end up sick.  It's just one of those things.  Grace ended up with what we thought originally was Strep. Then she was given a shot of penacillin.  She broke out in a rash, so we took her back in only to found out she had hand foot mouth and not strep.  Walker got it as well.
Grace's hands and feet itched so horribly.  It was awful.  I have never seen so many hand and feet bumps.

 Poor kiddo.

Then tiny mister got it.

And decided he needed to be held all the time.  We forced him to drink with a medicine dropper but it was horrible.  He got super dehydrated.

 And just wanted his Momma.

Grace started to feel better.

Walker didn't.  I ended up taking him in to urgent care. They transferred us to the ER and then admitted us overnight-with an IV.  He was a trooper.

Best buddies.  Grace ended up going home to sleep and back the next morning but he missed her.

It took them 3 times to get an IV to work.

We got to go home the next day but he still wasn't 100.

Only 2 days later he was back to being himself and I was so happy.
Just two girls staying home, having tea parties and loving each other.

Daddy was a good tea party sport too.

When I exercise in the garage the kiddos do playdough.  This a flower from Grace.

And something from Walker...both for me.

We did a lot of swimming in our pool.

and playing on the trampoline. I feel super blessed for these kiddos.

Beautiful flowers.

Our cozy back yard with my new patio Art put in.

But alas, we couldn't stay home forever.  We had people to see and moments to treasure.
